The LogisticsOperator I will be involved in multiple tasks associated with logistics including but not limited to shipping, receiving, sample pulling, cycle counting, warehouse management, and material handling. This position interacts with Customer Service, Quality, Planning, Regulatory, Purchasing, Production, Accounting, and external Carriers and Auditors. Shift: 2-2-3 schedule 5 pm - 5:30 am (3rd shift) every other weekend.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain strict adherence to equipment SOPs, GMP standards, food & flavor regulations (kosher), and documentation requirements.
Adhere to all safety protocols, including use of engineering controls and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe workplace for all employees.
Assisting with the shipment of finished products to customers according to customer order requirements, ensuring accurate paperwork, labeling, and on-time delivery
Communicate effectively with Customer Service, Purchasing, Quality, Regulatory, Planning and Carriers on a daily basis or as needed
Assisting with receiving all raw materials and supplies into the warehouse, check condition of materials and accuracy of paperwork, and provide sample to Quality Control.
Maintain inventory integrity and good housekeeping in the warehouse.
Material sample pulling to support R&D and Quality business needs.
Cycle counting
Responsible for adding waste to a satellite accumulation container, labeling, sampling and transporting hazardous waste.
Other duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Flavor industry desired.
Strong computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office and ERP systems required.

RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE
The Operator's primary duties will be:
Barrel Handling Including:
Loading & Unloading barrels that are full or empty
Quality Control inspection of barrels prior to refill
Minor Barrel repair
Filling and emptying of horizontal or vertical barrels
Safe storing & inventory of barrels in various warehouse types (including palletized and ricked)
Transporting barrels in company vehicles (Semi Box Van, Forklift, etc) around the company property
Operating pneumatic, hydraulic, and/or electric barrel equipment.
First Level Maintenance Including:
Maintaining barreling and warehouse equipment (i.e. CIL Clean Inspect Lubricate)
Performing sanitation & housekeeping of all areas of responsibility.
The Operator will also be expected to perform the following functions as needed:
Spotting trailers around the property using semi/spotter truck
Actively participating in inventory updates and cycle counts
Sampling of aging barrels as requested by Blender Group
Supporting the completion of relevant shipping paperwork (BOL, TIB, etc)
Operate Company Vehicles, including but not limited to Powered Industrial Trucks (Forklifts), Box Vans, other motor vehicles.
Comply with all Environmental, Health & Safety policies and training.
When not performing Aging Warehouse activities the Operator will be made available to assist other departments under the direction of the department's Lead Operator or Supervisor.
Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environments and outdoors as needed.

Minimum of one year warehousing or production/plant (chemical/processing) operation experience (beverage industry preferred).

Ability to bend, lift and carry 50+lbs. and perform repetitive work actions.
Valid US Class D operator's license Experience on other beverage sector manufacturing field (e.g. rickhouse, processing, bottling, etc.) is highly desired.

Summary
Forklift Operators are responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, staging and transporting products into and out of a warehouse. Individuals in this position must work cooperatively with other associates and productively with little supervision. What You'll Do:

Identifies and transports requested materials to and from various locations including machines, loading docks, railroad cars, trucks, and storage areas.
Obtains production schedule and/or shipping orders and then identifies, verifies, and transports requested raw materials, equipment, or processing materials accordingly.
Applies understanding of machine loading capacity and loading schedule, ensuring prompt and efficient delivery of required items.
Uses protective materials and strapping equipment to protect and secure loads; once delivered, removes strapping and wrapping, then safely disposes of waste materials in designated containers or areas.
Reports any problems with materials or transportation to supervisor.
Performs other related duties as requested.

Ability to handle equipment and vehicles safely and sensibly.
Education and Experience:

Night Shift Chemical Flaking Stand-up Forklift Operator
Reporting directly to the Flaking Supervisor, the Chemical Flaking Stand-up Forklift Operator 1 is responsible for performing all required duties and operating all necessary equipment to ensure the continuous and effective operation of the Flaking department in order to meet stated production goals while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Schedule: 2-2-3 Rotation (Work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days, repeat)
This schedule includes working every other weekend.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education, Credentials, Licenses:
A High School Diploma, GED, or earning within a designated period of time following date of hire.
Kind & Length of Experience:
1 year of stand-up forklift experience is required; 2+ years preferred
1 year of continuous work history with a company required; 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Able to work in ambient temperatures (high and low);
Able to work a 12-hour shift with rotating schedule;
Able to change elevation using ramps, stairs, and ladders;
Able to stand and walk for extended periods (e.g., greater than one hour);
Able to independently lift up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis during shift;
Able to work overtime as needed.

Transfer inventory through electronic scanning and required paperwork;

Act and be safe at all times;
Understand and adhere to all task, departmental, site, and company safety rules or standards
Assist in maintaining a safe work environment;
Comply with all customer, regulatory, and quality requirements in the performance of all tasks as
