Essential Duties & Job Functions:
*
* Makes set-point adjustments to optimize operations and efficiencies and minimize costs, or to change the operating parameters of the systems, equipment, and equipment components due to changed conditions caused by emergencies, equipment malfunctions, changed requirements.
* Ensures all set-points are within Air Force guidelines or standards.
* Performs system-optimizing through the reading and logging of temperatures, pressures, humidity, and equipment status, and increases efficiencies through adjusting dampers, valves, control point settings, etc.
* Performs duties of Customer Service Dispatcher during off-duty hours of the Production Control section such as and not limited to, loading service call or labor data into NEXGEN and CEMS.
* Performs appropriate maintenance on all EMCS equipment located in the MacDill Energy Center.
* Manages the necessary computer graphics to enhance or modify EMCS computer equipment or workstations.
* Use radios and telephone communication to notify personnel of items such as; service calls, weather forecasts, flight line emergencies or requirements, and general information.
* Utilizes email to notify personnel or supervisor.
* Maintains EMCS operations logbook.
* Updates labor using NexGen system.
* Keeps records of service calls and work orders via NexGen and CEMS.
* Generates word processing or spreadsheets for day-to-day functions or as a requirement from supervisor.
* Responsible for timely reporting of accidents, injuries, and hazardous situations.
* Perform all other work-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Mandatory:
* Monitors and responds to EMCS alarms by diagnosing abnormal operating conditions, remotely operates building and utility equipment in accordance with established schedules, and configures system parameters to support historical trending and performance analysis, and has experience with enterprise BAS/DDC platforms.
* Computer proficiency.
* High school graduate or equivalent.
* Three (3) year similar verifiable experience.
* Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional and courteous manner in diversified situations.
* Able to work a rotational shift as business needs dictate.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
* Ability to acquire and maintain government identification/common access card.
* Able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Preferred:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Technical or trade school completion.
* Specific training in EMCS Operator courses.
* Trane ensamble experience

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Functional areas of responsibility include operating unit simulators and providing JTAC instruction in IQT, MQT, CT, and upgrade training to JTAC instructors and evaluators, mission duties for range operations, and general assistance to unit JTAC Program Managers (JTAC PMs) and JTAC Evaluator Program Managers (JTAC E-PMs) with JTAC operations.
Complete Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M certification training or obtain their IAT Level certification within 6 months of completing baseline certification and assumption of duties.
Accomplish minor software updates, load databases, create scenarios, accomplish line replaceable unit removal and replacement, and run scripted software or queries and other support as directed by the Help Desk.
The contractor shall be capable of fully operating all aspects of the currently fielded simulator (Joint Terminal Control-Training Rehearsal System (JTC-TRS), DT-100, HAVIC) and any newly fielded accredited JTAC simulators.
Implement STG/STS-provided simulator scenarios, as well as develop and maintain the squadron's CAS simulator scenarios in accordance with JFS ESC AP MOA 2004-01, USSOCOM M3505, AFSOC I 13-50, Wing, Group, and unit guidance. Report simulator status and issues on the monthly status report (MSR).
Perform basic troubleshooting measures when simulator systems malfunction. Document and report issues to simulator service company and government leadership (CO/COR) within 72 hours of discovery. Report simulator status and issues on the monthly status reports (MSR).
Provide JTAC, JTAC-Instructor, and JTAC-Evaluator duties.
Participate in LVC, DMO training and exercises as required by the supported unit.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Current qualification IAW the USSOCOM 350-5, Appendix C, D, E, and F for JTAC-Instructor (JTAC-I), BSO, and Close Air Support (CAS) simulator operators.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Meet or exceed the security requirements outlined in DD-254 for the supported site and shall be required to access Focal Point material, including electronic accounts and media.
Must have or have held a JTAC-I qualification rating and demonstrate a working knowledge of the organizational interface of military, local, state, and federal agencies applicable to supported JTAC functions and operations.
Demonstrate knowledge of U.S. military command and control structures.
Possess a valid civilian driver's license and qualify for a military driver's license for all supported equipment and vehicles.
Demonstrate land navigation/map and compass skills sufficient to read and locate points of interest and targets, etc., using latitude, longitude, and Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) coordinates.
Must pass an initial drug screening and submit drug testing results as required by the Government within 30 days of notification of acceptance for work on this contract. Staff shall be subject to subsequent random drug testing after award at the Government's expense.
Ensure all contractor staff are medically qualified and can lift upto a 60-pound box.
Maintain a medical evaluation form (physical) indicating that each staff member meets the following guidelines.
