POSITION SUMMARY
The Sr Mgr Operational Excellence drives performance improvement in LKKUSA Operations. The SrOE Manager builds effective operating systems, tools and culture throughput the mfg organization. They do this by implementing the Lee Kum Kee Operating System (LOS) and ensuring continuous process improvement to achieve site short/long term business imperative.
The SrOE Manager coaches the manufacturing team on all methods to improve operational performance. They represent the factory in the cross site and cross functional global OE community to share knowledge and improve performance throughout the company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Work with the Plant Manager and leadership team to identify and develop clear improvement objectives in Safety, Quality, Service and Cost
Deploy the LOS to ensure sustainable delivery of these objectives.
Serve as the LOS expert, teaching and developing the team on the lean journey.
Measure and adjust LOS deployment based on KPI's to assure constant development
Develop a comprehensive understanding of site performance, including losses, cost, OEE etc
Serve as PMO facilitator in COGS management initiatives to assure project identification, process management, project reporting and goal accomplishment.
Develop a deep understanding of OEE, loss and cost drivers.
Serve as process expert for cost optimization model.
Coach the loss elimination teams and introduce lean tools as appropriate.
Develop a comprehensive plan to drive a performance improvement culture.
Fully engage leadership team in embracing a performance culture.
Build the LOS capabilities throughout the organization, including daily problem solving, team activities and routine ways of working
Help to develop and support a network between LKK operations to assure best practice sharing and implementation. Help create an LOS playbook for shared use among plants.
Lead continuous improvement activities projects and masterplan for the US operations.
Lead or co-lead the implementation of the factory digital transformation strategy.
Work with the CAPEX team in design for efficiency and master planning initiatives.
Drive the implementation of key improvement projects related to Safety, Quality, Service and Cost.
Proactively search new market trends, new technologies, and innovations to increase manufacturing capacity and perfomance.
Partner with HR function to develop an integrated talent management system to build, and develop a team with over several hundred members in multi-locations while complying with regulations and policies.

About the Role
Our operations team is growing and we are looking for Autonomous Vehicle Operators (AVOs) to join us. In this role you will be responsible for operating our autonomous test vehicles that run proprietary software and hardware, while helping train our self-driving technology.
Professionalism, care, and personal accountability are significant attributes as you will be expected to adhere to the culture of safety and standards of conduct exemplified by the team. You will have to pass a number of training checkpoints both in and out of the vehicle.
About the Work
Operate a vehicle in manual and autonomous mode up to 8 hours per day in diverse traffic conditions while adhering to proper safety and operational driving procedures
Utilize proprietary ground-breaking software to collect data in a variety of real-world situations, while simultaneously providing detailed and accurate feedback to our engineers
Troubleshoot operational issues in real time and collaborate with Mission Operations (dispatch) team as needed to resolve as quickly as possible and hit mileage collection targets
Conduct daily vehicle inspection checks before and after missions
Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, including but not limited to washing vehicles, putting air in tires, etc.
Occasionally interact with members of the public to educate them on autonomous vehicle technologies and behaviors
Occasionally serve as a company ambassador by safely and confidently conducting high-profile ridealongs for senior leadership (CEO, President, VPs), major stakeholders, investors, and engineers. Working Conditions and Essential Functions

Grind:
Operator CNC machines and surface grinders to produce precision parts to tight tolerances
Load/unload machines; set up fixtures and make programs, tool and work offset adjustments as needed
Hand hone and sharpen parts using files to ensure blade registration and cut quality
Deburr parts using buffing wheels to meet cosmetic and functional standards
Perform visual inspections using 10x loupe to verify quality and identify necessary adjustments
Productivity:
Accurately log production time and quantities using time keeping and labor report software (LYNQ)
Read thoroughly all “travelers” (work order)
Maintain production and maintenance logs accurately and in a timely manner
Proactively manage time and tasks to ensure consistent productivity during shifts, minimizing workflow interruptions or delays to maintain smooth production operations.

About the Role
We're seeking attentive and safety-focused Test Drivers / Vehicle Operators to support autonomous vehicle testing and data collection in Mountain View and San Francisco. In this role, you'll operate test vehicles on designated routes, record critical data, and collaborate with engineering teams to advance self-driving technology.
This is a hands-on, full-time position ideal for detail-oriented drivers who want to contribute to the development of next-generation mobility systems.
Key Responsibilities
Safely drive test vehicles on assigned routes for 4-8 hours daily while following all traffic and safety protocols.
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure readiness.
Operate in-vehicle software and assist with data collection and logging systems.
Document observations, issues, and system anomalies in detail.
Work closely with engineers to support testing, troubleshooting, and performance feedback.
Assist with vehicle logistics, storage, and basic maintenance tasks.
Requirements
Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record.

About the Role
Our operations team is growing and we are looking for Autonomous Vehicle Operators (AVOs) to join us. In this role you will be responsible for operating our autonomous test vehicles that run proprietary software and hardware, while helping train our self-driving technology.
Professionalism, care, and personal accountability are significant attributes as you will be expected to adhere to the culture of safety and standards of conduct exemplified by the team. You will have to pass a number of training checkpoints both in and out of the vehicle.
About the Work
Operate a vehicle in manual and autonomous mode up to 8 hours per day in diverse traffic conditions while adhering to proper safety and operational driving procedures
Utilize proprietary ground-breaking software to collect data in a variety of real-world situations, while simultaneously providing detailed and accurate feedback to our engineers
Troubleshoot operational issues in real time and collaborate with Mission Operations (dispatch) team as needed to resolve as quickly as possible and hit mileage collection targets
Conduct daily vehicle inspection checks before and after missions
Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, including but not limited to washing vehicles, putting air in tires, etc.
Occasionally interact with members of the public to educate them on autonomous vehicle technologies and behaviors
Occasionally serve as a company ambassador by safely and confidently conducting high-profile ridealongs for senior leadership (CEO, President, VPs), major stakeholders, investors, and engineers. You will expertly balance safe operations with professional communication, fielding general questions, and strategically deferring technical inquiries to the correct Points of Contact (POCs) or subject matter experts
Monitor onboard safety and navigational systems while maintaining constant situational awareness and adherence to safety protocols while driving
About You
You are able to reliably work 5 days a week on one of the following shifts:
Morning: 6:00am-2:30pm PT (Tue - Sat)

You have a current valid California driver's license and have been in possession of a US license for 3+ years

You are comfortable operating standard field equipment, including laptops, tablets, and smartphones, which are critical for documentation, training, and real-time workflow procedures

Working Conditions and Essential Functions
Due to the nature of the position, this job requires:
Sitting for 3 to 4 hours at a time for up to 8 hours per day in an enclosed vehicle alone or occasionally with a co-driver
Bending, squatting, stretching and lifting up to 25 pounds on a regular basis
Side and up/down movement of the head, neck, back and shoulders necessary to operate a vehicle safely
Ability to work in a vehicle that may brake, swerve, slow, or stop abruptly
Holding and grasping with hands and frequent use of foot/feet to operate foot pedals when driving the vehicle
