Purpose of the job:
The Logistics Operator must be aware of and follow all safety and security guidelines according to Company policy and in compliance with all applicable environmental, safety and government regulations. This position will work in a Union environment. The current rates for this position range from $29.04 - $34.09. Candidates are offered a rate depending on their years of direct relevant experience.
The Logistics Operator is responsible for loading and shipping product from raw material delivery to shipment of finished product while maintaining a safe work environment through operational excellence and accordance with the INEOS 20 Safety Principles and the Life Saving Rules.
Accountabilities of the job:

Loading:
* Inspecting containers for loading/unloading and documenting the inspection results.
* Loading/unloading bulk liquid materials utilizing railcars, tank trucks, and Iso-tanks.
* Bulk liquid material transfers throughout specified tank farms.
* Preparation and loading of finished products for domestic and export shipments.
* Operating a track mobile and switching railcars.
* performing minor maintenance on equipment.
* Isolation and decontamination of plant equipment.
* Understanding and complying with administrative duties for government regulations from federal and state agencies.
Required profile:
Level of Education & Knowledge:
* 18 Years of Age with a High School diploma or GED and at least ONE of the following qualifiers:
* 1-3 years in an industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, or maintenance environment
* Associates degree or higher from accredited institution, technical discipline preferred
* 4+ years of active military experience in a role that is technical in nature; applicant must provide a copy of DD214 military discharge paperwork.
* Prior material handling/loading/unloading experience in industrial/manufacturing environment preferred
Experience & Technical Skills:
* Demonstrated capability to use computers and other electronic interfaces for plant operation, inventory tracking, or workflow facilitation
* Must possess or obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card prior to first day of employment
* Possess a current, valid license to operate a motor vehicle in the United States.
* Possess skills, knowledge, and training related to implementation of life critical processes: LOTO, system and process openings, working at heights, hot work, confined space entry, energized electrical work.
Competencies & Behavioral Skills
* Must be willing and able to work outside, year-round under various weather conditions. INEOS is a 24-hour, 365 days per year operations.
* Must be able to work 12-hour shifts (which includes weekends and some holidays) this shift is a 7-on/7-off 12-hour shift 5am - 5pm (Days only).
* The candidate must be capable of climbing (scaffolds, towers, vessels, etc.) and working at heights.
