OVERNIGHT SHIFT SUNDAY - THURSDAY 8PM - 5 AM The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the daily operations of the dispatch team, including staff training, driver and truck routing, inventory tracking, issue resolution, and process improvement to optimize route efficiency. This role also supports and oversees the technology used by drivers, ensuring proper training for both drivers and dispatchers and providing ongoing assistance to maximize system effectiveness. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise, schedule, train and evaluate dispatchers and assist the Logistics Manager with hiring and evaluating dispatchers. Oversee the daily functions within the department, assigning unrouted work, and monitor all routes to ensure completion. Ensure all calls and emails are responded to same day. Review future work and communicate with Operations management to ensure drivers and equipment are available to cover the workload. Utilize route data management procedures and technologies to provide drivers with route information and ensure collection of the associated route data. Monitor daily and weekly driver hours to ensure compliance with the Company's hour limits and Department of Transportation (DOT) hours of service regulations. Coordinate with appropriate personnel in order to ensure that any underutilized, or unutilized company driver and truck resources are identified. Work with appropriate personnel to ensure that drivers perform in accordance with Company and DOT standards. Collaborate with the Logistics Manager and Operations managers to resolve escalated service issues and assist all system dispatchers to trouble shoot routing, driver, tablet or vehicle issues. Assist the Logistics Manager with developing and maintaining training materials for dispatchers, including onboard computer tools. A Mission Operations Logistics Specialist will assist the Mission Operations Logistics Lead and is responsible for coordinating and delivering Saronic Crafts and Equipment to any CONUS or OCONUS location with overall adherence to deadlines of the Mission Operations team. You will work closely with team members, stakeholders, and other departments to ensure successful event coordination in support of organizational goals. Responsibilities: * How you support the team: * Assist the Mission Operations Logistics Lead in the following: * Coordinate, plan and prioritize objectives and work for assigned company product(s), ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to project timelines. * Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define goals, objectives, and deliverables. * Maintain ownership of all logistical support to operations and projects, identifying potential issues or bottlenecks, and implement corrective measures as needed. * Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting open communication, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement. * Represent the company at planning events by demonstrating a thorough understanding of all crafts and their logistical requirements as well as creative solutions tailored to each event's unique requirements. * How you support the mission: * Assist the Mission Operations Logistics Lead in the following: * Planning: Act as the primary liaison between internal and external stakeholders such as DoD customers, facilitating communication, managing expectations, and ensuring event requirements are met. You will support the team through development of logistical plans considering factors such as route and budget optimization and risk mitigation to achieve desired outcomes. * Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret data acquired during logistical movements to derive actionable insights and development. * Generate comprehensive budget reports detailing key findings, and recommendations for more streamline methods. * Provide feedback to the engineering and development teams for continuous improvement of ASV capabilities regarding shipping and returning. * Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, DoD policies, and industry standards related to ASV operations. * Implement safety protocols and procedures to mitigate operational risks and ensure personnel safety. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of CONUS and OCONUS logistics experience supporting military operations OR 10+ Years of CONUS and OCONUS logistics experience supporting military operations. * Experience in embarkation, debarkation and transportation of people and military equipment in OCONUS operations. * Proficient in DOD logistics planning tools and processes to integrate necessary equipment and personnel in an operational environment. * Proficient in the transportation of sensitive equipment, HAZMAT and weapons through international customs. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams. * Prior SOF experience working with the DoD or other government agencies is a plus. Ensure purchased machinery meets regulatory and GMP standards. Logistics, Shipping & Inventory Coordination Coordinate international shipments, including interacting with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and freight carriers. Manage import/export paperwork, customs documentation, and tariff classifications. Monitor global logistics trends and changes in duties, tariffs, and compliance requirements. Track shipments, resolve delays, and manage warehouse receiving. Forecast inventory needs and maintain optimal levels of raw materials, packaging components, and machine parts. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Compliance teams to ensure procurement aligns with operational needs. Support Quality Assurance with supplier documentation, COAs, equipment specifications, and GMP-related records. Provide technical understanding when evaluating machine compatibility, upgrades, or replacements.
