Essential Functions:
Provide exceptional guest service. Be courteous, always greet and thank all customers while making eye contact.
Conduct all point-of-sale activities accurately and safely while adhering to CSI guidelines and procedures. This includes retail and fuel sales transactions completed through multiple forms of payment.
Maintain cash drawer to be at or below maximum level. Secure all funds in safe and perform cashier reconciliation at each end of shift to ensure accurate management of sales. CSI cash handling policies, guidelines, and procedures are followed consistently.
Perform consistent station cleaning of the indoor and outdoor facilities including restrooms, islands, pumps, and car wash, if applicable.
Prepare food and hot beverage products. Effectively manage ExtraMile and/or KKC foodservice and beverages to ensure maximization of sales and minimization of loss through continuously monitoring product levels and re-stocking as needed.
Actively promote store specials and other marketing programs.
Cross-check price of delivered goods for accuracy.
Distribute delivered goods in an orderly manner throughout the store and continuously ensure shelves are full of products. This includes both the retail space and cooler locations in the store.
Observe local law requirements in activating and filling vehicle fuel tanks with gasoline or diesel fuel to specified levels. (Oregon only)
May perform other duties as assigned by management.

THE ROLE

Under the supervision and direction of the Expanded Learning Manager and Expanded Learning Site Lead, the Expanded Learning Mentor (ELM) will develop and implement academic and enrichment activities for groups of 20 students in grades 1st-8th and/or groups of 10 in grade TK or Kindergarten.

Assist the Expanded Learning Manager, Coordinator, and Site Lead in developing, organizing, and implementing activities that promote the program's mission.
Work with team members to plan and lead focused activities to embed positive behavior.
Plan and lead enrichments, physical education, and homework assistance to a group of 20 scholars.
Enhance the quality of the program by encouraging student engagement through intentional planning of activities which include, but are not limited to the following: enrichment clubs, field trips, homework support, and nutrition access.
Record student attendance and submit daily to the Program Site Lead no later than fifteen (15) minutes into the start of your session each day.
Supervise and ensure the safety of scholars at all times.
Responsible for daily set-up and clean-up of all materials used during the program; ensure that classrooms and school spaces utilized during the program are clean and orderly.

THE ROLE
This is a full time, non-exempt position responsible for performing a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks on industrial recycling equipment and heavy machinery. Mechanic II performs diagnostics and troubleshooting of complex mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues, completes preventative maintenance, and supports plant reliability and uptime.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Perform diagnostics on complex mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues using advanced tools and diagnostic equipment.
Conduct repairs and overhauls on industrial equipment including cranes/overhead hoists, load handling systems, conveyors, pumps and electric motors, gearboxes, and hydraulic rams/cylinders used in recycling operations.
Inspect and evaluate equipment to identify signs of wear, malfunction, or damage; recommend repairs or replacements to minimize downtime.
Perform routine maintenance such as changing fluids, filters, belts, hoses, seals, and checking safety features/guards.
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and electrical systems, utilizing schematics and wiring diagrams to resolve issues.
Assist with major equipment overhauls and replacement of large/heavy components; coordinate rigging and safe work execution.
Ensure repairs are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner, minimizing equipment downtime and improving operational efficiency.
Maintain accurate maintenance and repair logs, documenting all work performed on equipment.
Collaborate with supervisors and other mechanics to coordinate repairs and schedules, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
Train and mentor entry-level mechanics by sharing technical knowledge and offering guidance in troubleshooting and repair techniques.
Ensure compliance with safety standards by using proper PPE and following safety procedures during all repairs and maintenance tasks.
Stay updated with new equipment technologies and repair techniques to enhance job performance.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in mechanics preferred.
3-5+ years of experience as an industrial maintenance mechanic or heavy equipment mechanic (plant/recycling experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and repair techniques; working knowledge of hydraulics and electrical troubleshooting.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools (and software, as applicable).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND REQUIREMENTS
Environmental conditions - Must work outside in all different weather conditions including extreme cold and extreme heat. May at times be exposed to dangerous and/or toxic substances and must take necessary precautions to protect eyes, nose and skin from irritation and infection.
Mental demands- Conditions that may lead to mental or emotional fatigue.
Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling 25 to 50 pounds.
Climb on and around equipment and sit for long periods while operating equipment.
Walk and stand for long periods of time.
Able to climb a minimum of 2 story of stairs.
