Job Duties
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
Maintain a service van and its inventory.
Process paperwork after completion of each job.
Minimum Qualifications
Less than 2 years related experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
Preferred Qualifications
Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.
Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder and various types of testing equipment.
Industry related training is preferred
Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through

Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of maintenance tasks including electrical and mechanical repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of equipment and systems.
Service trailers and repair and replace industrial equipment as needed.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
Maintain and repair conveyor systems: install belts, tighten, adjust, straighten, align, and replace parts.
Perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure safe working conditions.
Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
Ensure that all work is completed following safety guidelines and procedures.
Ability to work in awkward, confined spaces, using proper lifting and rigging techniques for heavy objects.
Work in both indoor and outdoor environments, which may include extreme temperatures, hazardous equipment, and slippery surfaces.
Be self-motivated and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.

Required Skills/Abilities:
3 years of experience in mechanical/electrical repair within a manufacturing environment (with conveyors preferred).
Familiarity with high-voltage wiring, especially 480V 3-phase motors.
Knowledge and experience with motor control systems (preferred).
Proficiency in multi-craft maintenance and repair, with a focus on both electrical and mechanical systems.
Troubleshooting machine failures
Programming PLC's
Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and stretching.
Willingness to work in challenging environments with extreme temperatures, humidity, and hazardous equipment.
