Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks. Maintain a service van and its inventory. Process paperwork after completion of each job. Minimum Qualifications Less than 2 years related experience High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks. Preferred Qualifications Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics. Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills. Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment and systems, ensuring safe and efficient operations. This position requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and servicing mechanical and electrical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Schedule: Monday - Thursday 4:30 pm - 3:00 am possible over time on Fridays - 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm (not always guaranteed) Duties and Responsibilities: Perform a variety of maintenance tasks including electrical and mechanical repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of equipment and systems. Service trailers and repair and replace industrial equipment as needed. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices. Maintain and repair conveyor systems: install belts, tighten, adjust, straighten, align, and replace parts. Perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure safe working conditions.
