Performs the operational functions of data manipulation on various types of label equipment within the department to meet production quality standards and deadlines. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include but may not be limited to the following: Operates the label machines properly and efficiently in order to meet production deadlines according to the daily job schedule. Machine Operator I is an entry level position with some understanding of manufacturing equipment. Role and Responsibilities * Ability to use inspection equipment (micrometers, calipers, comparator, etc.) * Maintains a high standard of quality. * Performs first piece and in process inspection(s) * Keeps record of all inspections and parts run. * Strive to maximize efficiency and improve quality. * Perform ERP system transactions. * Flexible with the ability to change job priorities as instructed. * Comfortable with cross-functional tasks to support a continuously improving environment. * Run both manual and CNC controlled manufacturing equipment. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications * Ability to work with small diameter parts requiring tight tolerances and high-quality finishes. * Ability to read blueprints/drawings is desirable. * Have good mechanical and math aptitude, understand work instructions. * 1-2 years' industrial experience in manufacturing/machine operating is preferred. * Good communication skills. * Dependable, efficient and productive work habit * Good problem-solving skills. Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Verify process compliance to established 5DX programs with respect to selecting programs, identifying failures called out by the program and entering defect data into OCuity, as well as data transfer between 5DX and PLR. * Adhere to all ESD requirements and Board Handling. * Use of Moisture Sensitive Device (MSD) handling requirements based on the components' moisture sensitive levels (MSL). * Verify product compliance to workmanship standards as documented in work instructions. * Verify integrity of data collected by machinery. * Communicate defects not captured by equipment to responsible personnel for enhancement of program integrity. * Communicate to assembly operators defects being noted during the 5DX program review. * Support and follow all ISO standards related to NEOTech's various Quality Management Systems. Job Description The Extrusion Operator will set up and run various extrusion machines and ancillary equipment in the manufacturing of medical and non-medical extruded tubing. The operator will be expected to perform his/her job duties safely and with attention to the execution of all tasks with efficiency and quality. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Set ups, tear downs, operates and cleans extrusion machines and ancillary equipment within supplied specification. Performs moisture analysis on raw materials and ensures utmost quality of extruded product by performing quality inspections using a variety of measurement equipment including, but not limited to: Pin gauges Micrometers Verniers Video microscopes Laser micrometers Troubleshoots extrusion issues as needed. All other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor. Required Qualifications: 3 years of manufacturing/machine operator experience preferred. Willing to train mechanically inclined candidates. Must be able to read, apply and train others on documented work instructions.
