Job Overview:Responsibilities & Duties:
May include, but isn't limited to:
Operating filling equipment; making minor machine adjustments.
Performs packaging of finished product packages.
Making corrugated boxes and partitions.
Packing finished merchandise in boxes.
Sealing cases with tape gun or tape machine.
Labeling finished cases with proper identification.
Placing finished cases on pallets using pre-determined case placements.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Experience in a GMP/regulated industry is a plus!
Ability to lift and carry 25 - 50 lbs on a regular basis.
Ability to stay cool and calm under pressure and balance changing priorities with ease.

What You'll Do:

Essential Job Functions:
Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas (including but not limited to hairnets/beard nets, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard toe and slip/oil resistant shoes, appropriate safety gloves, and seatbelts while operating forklifts)
Responsible to adhere to food quality and food safety as per the standard(s) provided by corporate, customer, and/or governing bodies (ex. SQF).
Possesses a practical understanding of SQF and HACCP and can address inquiries related to both.
Ability to read, comprehend, and adhere to a production manufacturing schedule, effectively communicate issues or deviations with the appropriate parties and respond to inquiries.
Maintain production flow of machine(s) by monitoring downstream and upstream issues, supplying raw materials to the equipment, and performing minor servicing if and when needed.
Follow all Quality Assurance and Production line standard operating procedures.
Follow standard operating procedures to perform equipment changeovers; ability to read imperial and metric measurements.
Completely and accurately record all necessary information for production and quality records. Keep accurate downtime reports and documentation.
Responsible for performing equipment and general sanitation in your work area or as assigned by leadership.
Work closely with all departments to improve quality, increase efficiencies, and reduce waste.
Ability to accurately identify raw material defects that could impact production quality, reduce efficiencies, and increase waste.
May assist in training new employees.
Ability to understand visual and auditory cues to identify production or machine related issues.
Perform minor machine maintenance as well as daily and weekly preventive maintenance as required.
Perform any other duties assigned by leadership including but not limited to cross training, general and plant sanitation, inventory management, training, etc.
Required Skills:
Experience in a high-speed beverage production environment required. Ability to independently and efficiently operate and troubleshoot required manufacturing equipment.
Demonstrates the ability to gain a firm understanding of production machinery/forklifts, including an awareness of technical issues.
Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
Adeptness in basic mathematical abilities.
Skill in understanding and interpreting gauges, thermometers, and weight measurements.
Formal training in areas such as WHIMIS, HACCP, Hygiene etc. preferred.
Forklift certification may be required.

Communication Skills - Effective verbal and written communication with team members and supervisors, reporting issues accurately, and collaborating to ensure smooth workflow. Follows equipment down-time escalation process schedule.
Education and Experience:
High School Certification or equivalent.
1-3 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Working Conditions:
Work Schedule: Weekdays, weekends, afternoon, evenings, overnight and holidays may be required. Overtime scheduled as needed.
Work Environment: Operating in a fast-paced production plant with numerous moving parts. Noise levels require hearing protection and temperatures can get very hot and/or relatively cold. The environment is structured and supervised, with clear production targets and schedules to meet.

What You Will Do:
Perform production work as directed to assist Machine Operators set up and operate machines
Handle and transport raw materials, parts, supplies, tools, fixtures, dies and trucks

What You Need to Succeed:

JOB SUMMARY: Associate must have the ability to make precise adjustments, basic troubleshooting skills, and modify and or create programs based on equipment, product and customer needs. Additionally, these roles are the last quality checkpoint before the product reaches both the internal and external customer. The ability to understand and communicate information is essential. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare work area for pre- and post-operational activities.
Load, unload, and transfer product to and from equipment and or
conveyors.
Monitor production lines, identify issues, supply and replenish packaging
materials as necessary.
Sort, weigh, wrap, label, verify or measure product to meet product
specifications.
Inspect and remove defective products and or packaging materials from the
process.
Arrive at your workstation prepared to perform tasks at a scheduled time,
and staying until work is complete, or until supervisor and/or manager
indicate work is done. Overtime may be necessary and is required when
scheduled.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Set up, tear down of equipment, selection of pre-determined settings and
Use proper lifting, bending, and reaching techniques.
Perform other duties as assigned. Identify any safety concerns and or
hazards and report them.
Perform safety checklist and ability to operate pallet jack/riders/forklift
equipment.
Perform Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
Modify and create program settings to meet production standards.
Provide machine adjustments and troubleshooting when required.

Qualifications
Must be proficient in General Production 2
Must be 18 years of age or older
High school diploma/GED preferred
2+ years' production industry experience preferred
Must be able to understand and comply with company, plant, and safety rules/policies
Basic understanding of production and procedures
Ability to use knives, saws, and a variety of machinery
Ability to use both arms and hands to lift, load, cut and package product.
Work Environment
The work environment may include cold temperatures (34 degrees). It may also require the use of sharp tools such as knives.
