Key Responsibilities: * Operate and monitor plastic extrusion machines for thermocouple wire insulation. * Set up extrusion equipment, including dies, feeds, and temperature controls, to meet product specifications. * Inspect wire for proper dimensions, surface quality, and consistency throughout production runs. * Perform regular quality checks using micrometers, gauges, and visual inspection. * Troubleshoot equipment issues, adjust machine settings, and resolve production problems as needed. * Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area. * Document production data, machine settings, and quality results accurately. * Collaborate with supervisors and maintenance teams to ensure smooth production flow. * Assist in preventive maintenance and minor machine repairs if required. * Uphold company standards for safety, quality, and efficiency. Qualifications: * Minimum 2+ years of extrusion machine operation experience, preferably in wire or cable manufacturing. * Strong knowledge of extrusion processes, thermoplastics, and material handling. * Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and safe machine operation. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions. * Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. * Ability to work efficiently and effectively, both independently, and collaboratively. * Attention to detail. * Teamwork and communication skills * Physical stamina and strength * High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus.
