Operate industrial slitting machines to cut steel coils into precise widths per customer requirements. Responsible for machine setup, inspections, documentation, and safe leadership of helper/banding personnel. Pay is $20-$24 BOE Shift is 6:00am-230pm 5-6 days a week
Key Responsibilities
Set up slitter machine using spacers, shims, and rotary blades per work order.
Mount coils, thread material, and operate tension bars/feed rollers.
Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections per Quality Management System (QMS).
Monitor slit, brake, wrap, and flatness while operating machine.
Guide and coach helpers/banders; ensure safety of full slitter crew.
Record inspection results, create inventory/ship tags, and complete required documentation.
Maintain clean 5S-compliant work area; perform daily and weekly preventive maintenance.
Requirements
Proficiency with tape measure, calipers, and micrometers.
Ability to read and interpret work orders/charts.
Understanding of tooling, clearances, and steel cut patterns.
Forklift & crane experience (certification preferred).
Strong safety mindset; must wear PPE and follow all safety rules.
Able to lift 25-40 lbs, stand/walk for shifts, and work in loud, industrial environment

Production Operator (Day shift) This position is responsible for daily operations of the production floor; ensuring the shift meets established safety, quality, and production goals in compliance with all applicable legal and food safety requirements.
Essential Functions
