Work as part of a Team to execute clinical packaging and labeling activities, including material, room and equipment staging, execution and documentation of operations, and room clearance and cleaning. Support additional operational activities in support of sampling and material transfer. Performs all tasks related to clinical label printing production. Responsibilities:

Perform and document de-packaging, packaging, labeling and sampling activities
Report potential quality events, non-conformance to GMPs/SOPs when observed
Ensures that each component or bulk material used in label production is properly identified, not expired, verified throughout processing and corresponds to the written information on the work order before proceeding to the next step.
Print, inspect, proof, and perform accountability for clinical product labels.
Process labeling/packaging batch paperwork according to GMP/GDP.
Verifies before use that equipment calibration date has not been exceeded.
Maintain label inventory.
Carries out all the appropriate periodic quality inspections during the printing process to ensure the integrity.
Clean facility and equipment including cleaning of packaging rooms and general housekeeping and perform verification procedures
Stocking of PPEs, disinfectants, cleaning wipes and other consumables for the facility and packaging rooms
Physically capable to don and wear cleanroom/protective gowning and equipment, including but not limited to gowning, goggles, face shields, and protective gloves. PPE are essential for the health and safety of employees
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
Requirements:

Inspect first-run piece, maintain measured dimension list. Record and inspect key dimensions for conformance to specifications using micrometer and precision dial gauges.

What your day looks like
Under general supervision, remove primal from primal cut line and bone out and/or trim product based on daily need according to specifications. Additional responsibilities include assisting other boner/trimmers by removing primal from primal cut line and positioning on table. Accurately cut off shoulders top. Trim meat products, (remove skin, fat, bones, as well as any blood clots, etc. according to daily need and according to specifications. Trim special cuts based on daily need. Follows all USDA and Leidy SQF, HACCP, GMP requirements. Maintain and observe all safety rules and regulations at all times. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Specific Responsibilities
· Handle all products and equipment in a proper and safe manner.
· Follow all USDA and Leidy's TQC standards, safety rules, regulations, and guidelines. Communicate any concerns to supervisor when necessary.
· Keep pace with production levels and/or line speed.
· Remove shoulder from primal cut line. Position on table and proceed to bone out based on daily need. Bone shoulders could include: boned pics boxed (as is), boned pics for sausage (heavy fat trimmed off), zip net pics (trim according to specifications).
· Be conscious of proper yields and production standards.
Who Are You: Must be able to follow directions, have basic math, communication, and interactions skills. Must be able to differentiate between products and specialty cuts or hog parts and have good knife skills with respect to proper use, handling and sharpening. Some functions require repetitive motion such as pinch & hard grasping knife. Must be able to lift, push, or pull 8 lbs. frequently.
