Disassemble, inspect, and conduct preventive maintenance on molds, fixtures, and related components, ensuring all parts are in good working condition and reassemble molds to production-ready status. Perform more advanced mold repairs, including machining, grinding, polishing, and adjusting mold fit, ensuring that molds are functioning at optimal levels for production runs. Troubleshoot and resolve moderate mold issues in a timely manner, applying advanced techniques to minimize downtime and ensure consistent product quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, etc.) to ensure mold readiness, provide input on mold design improvements, and suggest enhancements for manufacturing processes. Maintain mold maintenance and repair records, ensuring accurate documentation of work performed, parts replaced, and preventive measures taken to improve mold longevity. Maintain a focus on safety, adhering to company policies and best practices while proactively addressing potential hazards. Perform all other duties as assigned.
