The Machinist will be responsible for operating and maintaining precision machining equipment to manufacture components used in cosmetic production. Designs, fabricates, or repairs machine parts to close tolerances. Fits and assembles parts into mechanical equipment. Coordinates and directs projects and shop activities as assigned. This role is accountable for helping to achieve strategies and goals of becoming the world-class, low-cost, high-quality producer of choice. This role is expected to communicate with reliability and operations teams to minimize the impact on the production schedule. Document all work, adjustments, and parts replacements in a computerized maintenance management system. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and maintenance schedules.
