ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties to include but not limited to installation, set up programming, trouble shooting and repair of machinery, instruments, controls and related equipment.
Individual will demonstrate advanced electrical trouble shooting skills, a through working knowledge of the National Electrical Code and the ability to install and maintain electrical systems.
Work from sketches, equipment manuals, basic designs, specifications and verbal instructions.
Continue to keep abreast of new developments through study, schooling, etc. as necessary.
Follow all OSHA and company safety regulations.
Assist other maintenance personnel as well. Will assist in training when needed. Other duties may be assigned.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Mechanic works within the Maintenance Department, partners closely with Operations to minimize Plant downtime. Maintenance Mechanic will be required to work various shifts, overtime, and weekends as assigned.
To qualify, candidates must have a minimum of 2 or more years of maintenance experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment and be able to pass the Ramsey Mechanical Aptitude Test with a minimum score of 70%.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
Perform a variety of craft duties involved in simple construction, maintenance, lubrication, troubleshooting, and repair work on buildings and equipment.
Assist on all types of construction, maintenance, and repair work as necessary throughout the Plant.
Use mechanic hand tools, overhead hoist, man lifts, etc. to assist in dismantling and assembling equipment.
Perform other miscellaneous duties as required or assigned.
Clean up the area where work is being performed.
Ensure the plant area meets or exceeds all safety standards (guarding, walkways, fall protection, PPE, lockout/tag out, etc.) and all work is performed safely.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to work outdoors in a non-climate controlled environment, subject to dirt, greasy, rough terrain, and inclement weather at times and cold weather in winter.
Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, to perform work at heights.
Must be able to lift up to 100lbs, with frequent bending, standing, and stooping.
Must have consistent track record for working safely
Must be able to work independently or as part of a team.
Must be able to multitask and be able to handle multiple priorities.
Must have a strong sense of urgency completing job tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
:
Completion of an electrical and/or maintenance certificate or proficiency qualification or apprentice program desired.
Knowledge of conveyors, crushers, pumps, hydraulics, screens, rotary dryers, bucket elevators are preferred.
Ability to stick weld, mig weld, oxygen acetylene cutting is desired.

About Your Work Day
The job requires efficient and effective repairs, and fixes/replacement of items found in the hotel public areas, guest rooms, venues, and related buildings. Duties can range from minor repairs, plumbing, electrical, painting, and even the breakdown/assembly of furniture and equipment. No two days are exactly the same requiring flexibility, patience with interruptions, and good multi-tasking skills. Good interpersonal skills are essential to our success.
