Ability of operation switch gear and MCC. Properly select tools required for task being performed. Provide timely preventive maintenance support coordinating with production personnel. Maintain and complete all necessary forms, files and paperwork associated with PM and work order programs. Available for overtime, call-outs and rotating schedules. Willingness to learn and upgrade skill level. Performs other related duties as assigned. Division OmniSource An Omni Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining machinery, equipment and systems to ensure efficient operation. This specific position will work primarily on the stationary and mobile equipment. Responsibilities * Must be able to weld. * Regularly inspect stationary and mobile equipment for wear and tear, lubricate moving parts, check hydraulic systems. * Perform scheduled maintenance tasks according to manufacturer guidelines. * Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions. * React to emergency breakdowns. * Diagnose mechanical issues with stationary and mobile equipment; identify faulty components, replace worn parts, repair hydraulic leaks, and address malfunctions to minimize downtime. * Assist with installation of utilities and equipment. * Adhere to all safety protocols including the use of proper personal protective equipment and follow lockout/tagout procedures. * All other duties as assigned.
