We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both mechanical and electrical maintenance, with experience in industrial environments. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment critical to our production processes. Key Responsibilities: Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on industrial machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal operation. Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in equipment, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. Repairs: Carry out repairs on industrial machinery, including mechanical components, electrical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Machine Setting and Calibration: Set up and adjust machines according to production specifications. Ensure all equipment is properly calibrated and functioning according to the operational requirements. Installation: Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment, ensuring it is correctly set up and integrated into the production line. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in a safe and efficient manner. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance tasks.
