As a Maintenance Technician I you will drive company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Inspect guestrooms, public spaces and back of the house areas to repair, touch up or replace light bulbs, lamps, switches, outlets, faucets, toilets, hardware, filters, paint, furniture, wall covering, caulking, grouting or other miscellaneous repairs, requiring the individual to possess knowledge of a wide variety of maintenance trades in order to visually inspect and detect items needing repair. The Facilities Maintenance Technician provides routine repair and general maintenance of facilities, buildings, and equipment under general supervision. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Ability to provide custodial duties for Apache Behavioral Health Services and to be moderately physically healthy and be able to stay on his/her feet for hours each day as well as bend, climb, lift, and move objects. Participation in all required ABHS meetings and training, including weekly staff meetings. Unlock and lock the main entry gate daily and check security fence for damages or maintenance. Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks. Repair and Tool Technicians are responsible for the evaluation and repair of small engines, outdoor power equipment and handheld electrical devices. This position makes equipment recommendations and ensures that units are maintained. Technicians work in both our stores with Tool Rental Centers and in our repair centers. In a store, technicians will be expected to provide service to store customers in Tool Rental which includes writing customer contracts and invoices for equipment rental and tool repairs, checking to make sure tool is operating properly and demonstrating its proper use (as needed).
