Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Supervisor, Adult Mental Health Services (AMHS), coordinates services of an interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals, paraprofessionals and support staff (social workers, counselors, peer support specialists, mental health workers, etc.) within two Mental Court Teams. This program serves adults with behavioral health and co-occurring disorder service needs who have involvement with both the 55th District and 30th Circuit Mental Health Courts. The team assists with connecting participants with services and monitoring compliance as required by the courts. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: clinical and administrative supervision of staff, liaison services to the courts and local police departments, consultation and participation in program planning, budget monitoring, periodic direct services to consumers, and staff hiring. The Coordinator participates in weekly review meetings and court hearings for both specialty courts. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI's mission, policies and procedures. Requirements: Possession of a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related mental health field required. Possession of an appropriate State of Michigan credential is required.
