About the opportunity
Waypoint is seeking a Marketing & Communications Intern for the Spring of 2026. This is an unpaid internship where you can earn credits toward your college degree. This position works with Waypoint's Communication and Grant Team. Waypoint is a social service organization providing a range of services to more than 9,000 individuals each year. The work crosses the lifespan from support for babies with developmental delays to youth experiencing homelessness to home care for seniors. As an intern with Waypoint, you will be able to make a difference by contributing your social media, graphic design, information technology, and marketing skills. This opportunity is a fit for you if you are creative, curious, and interested in being part of a small team and getting wide exposure to all things communications.
Projects may include:
Creating flyers, social media posts, advertisements, and other marketing collateral using Canva
Creating content, including video reels, for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
Writing copy for emails, press releases, website, social media, newsletters, and other potential needs
Analyzing web and social media analytics to assist Communications Team in making strategic decisions

You can work hybrid from one of several of our locations throughout the state, or fully remote if that arrangement works best for you. This internship will be designed to meet your interests and utilize your strengths. 72, 96, and 120-hour internships are available, and working hours are flexible. * Identify and review documentation in an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) environment to ensure that all required signatures and addendums are present in the medical record.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- AS, BS, MS degree, military education, certificate program, current student with less than 12 months from completion OR High School Diploma/GED with 6 months experience servicing electronic, IT or mechanical equipment.
- Previous experience and/or course work in which you have successfully interpreted schematic diagrams and performed troubleshooting and planned maintenance on basic diagnostic imaging or electronic equipment following current standards, code, and procedures to ensure safe and effective operation of those devices.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

What you will do

Summary:
A Trainee - Nuclear Tech may be employed up to fifteen (15) months, on a per diem basis as they complete an approved program of study.
