Responsibilities
Perform consecutive 30-90 minute massage sessions
Complete new client evaluation and notes for each client thoroughly and with accuracy, filing same day as service
Keep the treatment area clean, organized, and on brand
Attend monthly staff meetings and required trainings
Listen to the concerns of all clients with empathy and address their concerns according to Bhakti Wellness Center protocol
Strive to increase knowledge by taking continuing education classes in related courses
Willing to assist co-workers with any questions and concerns they may have
Willing to work extra hours or flexible schedule when called upon
Willing to sub and/or trade shifts with others
Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Assists with cleanliness of wellness center
Maintain active license
Qualifications
Graduated at least a 500 hour massage program
Can show proof of current malpractice and liability insurance
Experience in an upscale environment preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
Experience in body treatments is preferred
3-5 years practical experience in any/all of these specialties preferred
Must adhere to local and state licensing laws and regulations

Job Summary
As a Licensed Therapist, you will be dedicated to delivering exceptional outpatient client care in a collaborative setting. Your primary responsibilities will encompass conducting diagnostic assessments and administering targeted treatment, drawing from an array of culturally responsive, trauma-informed and diverse therapeutic modalities, including individual, couples, family, and/or group psychotherapy. Your caseload may include individuals presenting with depression, anxiety, trauma, significant life changes, ADHD, and other mental health symptoms and developmental concerns, thus necessitating experience across a broad spectrum of client profiles and conditions.
A Licensed Therapist with LynLake Centers for Wellbeing will be responsible for:
Providing professional clinical services, including individual, couples, group, and/or family therapy
Following company policies, professional conduct standards, and all applicable laws and regulations.
Timely completion of medical records and associated tasks to support billing and administration.
Conduct diagnostic assessments, monitor client progress, provide relevant education, and develop treatment plans.
Make referrals to other health professionals and community members as needed.
Attend internal and/or external continuing education courses to stay updated on best practices.
Participate in credentialing processes, including CAQH.
Exceptional clinical and boundary-setting skills along with expertise in therapy processes and treatment modalities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team productively and effectively.
Requirements:
Clinical Experience:
Minimum of one year of previous group practice experience (or related outpatient practice experience)
Education:
Master's or Doctoral Degree from an accredited program in a counseling-related field, such as Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology.
Licensures/Certifications:
Licensed as one of the following: LPCC, LICSW, LP or LMFT in the state of Minnesota and in good standing with the Licensing Board.
Ability to maintain adequate Professional Liability Insurance coverage.
Strongly Preferred: One or more of the following specialties:

The MassageTherapist will provide massage therapy services for assigned hospice patients, in accordance with the interdisciplinary plan of care. During an initial evaluation, the massagetherapist will assess the patient's strength and needs. The MassageTherapist will organize their own schedule for making patient visits; taking into consideration: changing patient needs, team needs and meetings. The MassageTherapist will provide therapeutic massage that creates a caring and safe environment, addresses the comfort needs of patients, and positively impacts the patients' health status, feeling of wellness and/or quality of life. The massagetherapist will attend Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) and will function as a team member, giving and receiving relevant information.

Qualifications:
Minimum of one year of clinical massage therapy experience; two years' experience preferred
Experience in home health or hospice preferred
Currently licensed, state certified, or registered or licensed as a massagetherapist in the state and in good standing with the state board and/or current certification by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB)
Training in geriatric massage preferred
Duties:
Educates hospice staff on appropriate use of the massage therapy program, encouraging referrals from all clinical staff and volunteers.
Completes massage therapy initial assessment for clients and families referred, creates a treatment plan, and implements the plan with consultation of the IDG.
Provides massage therapy sessions to clients in accordance with plan of care. Sessions will be flexible according to the changing client needs of the moment.
Demonstrates knowledge of massage therapy research, and uses best practices in clinical interventions.
Incorporates the knowledge of the unique issues related to death, dying, grief and loss.
Ability to recognize client/family strengths and weaknesses as well as their support systems.
Maintains infection control procedures and reports suspected abuse/neglect.
Completes documentation in a timely manner, neatly, using professional terminology.
Maintains confidentiality about clients/families.
Represents the hospice agency in a professional manner at all times.
Is on time, neatly dressed, and organized.
Completes other duties as required.

Position Information:
Are you a passionate MassageTherapist looking to grow your career in a dynamic, integrative care setting? Join us at the NWHSU Bloomington Clinic-Northwestern Health Sciences University's largest and most established clinic, with over 30 years of providing exceptional, patient-centered care. By conducting initial assessments and reviewing patient history, you will work with clients to define health goals and provide therapeutic massage care. This role also includes clinical assisting duties, including creating smooth patient workflow by assisting providers, rooming patients, maintaining OSHA cleaning standards, and educating patients per providers instructions. This is a unique opportunity to work with a diverse client base and collaborate alongside a multidisciplinary team of experienced providers.
This position is a part time, benefits eligible role, working 20-29 hours per week; potential for hours to grow as demand increases.
Work Location: Bloomington, MN in-person
MassageTherapist Duties:
Manages client care with the approved policies and procedures of the NWHSU clinic system and within clinical scope of practice.
Provide the highest quality care possible utilizing evidence informed practices and assist each patient to reach their goals while maintaining a strong provider/client relationship ensuring client satisfaction.
Discipline appropriate initial assessment of client based on history and observations.
Monitors client progress and ensures appropriate follow-up care.
Refer clients to internal or external healthcare professions as necessary and indicated by clinical findings.
Complete all necessary client documentation in a timely manner, according to clinic policy.
Conduct informed consent with each new clients prior to treatment and on an annual basis.
Participate in public speaking, community event activities, and/or publish articles in newspaper/media sources for purposes of increasing patient utilization of University clinics.
Attend meetings and required clinic in services i.e.: coding and documentation; HIPAA training; CPR; blood-borne pathogen, etc.
Maintain licensure.
What you need to have?
High school diploma or GED plus completion of an accredited massage therapy program.
1-3 years experience working in clinical settings.
Eligible to sit for Board Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Body Work exam, required.
Certified in Craniosacral Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage, Shiatsu, and CPR/BLS, preferred.
