Reviews the production schedule, pulls materials for next job, and stages for each line throughout each shift such that the Production Operators are not waiting on materials
Relocates unused materials, waste and recyclable materials from the department to their appropriate storage areas throughout the shift such that none are left by shift end
Fills in for Production Operators, as needed
Performs basic trouble-shooting on machine, resolving basic problems.
Escalates machine problems to the Maintenance Technician and or Supervisor as required.
Completes electronic timecard daily with no more than 1 error per month.
Attends all scheduled meetings, missing no more than 10% annually.
Provides excellent customer service.
Actively demonstrates teamwork at all times.
Follows all OSHA and Company safety guidelines, including use of PPE.
Adheres to company safety standards at all times, such that no serious (requiring medical attention) injury occurred during the prior 12-month period.
Follows other policies and procedures such that there are no verbal or written warnings during the evaluation period.
Performs all other duties as required.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
Basic computer usage including mouse.
Skilled with a pallet jack.
Ability to learn label printing software.
Basic understanding of English to read work orders and write information.
Ability to perform basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using all units of measure, whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Ability to visually inspect required coding, product labeling, and finished goods to match products with the appropriate packaging.
Ability to develop thorough understanding of operational procedures to practice safe manufacturing.
Ability to meet physical demands of the job which include, but are not limited to: sitting, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, climbing, and walking for extended periods of time on a concrete floor, and frequently lifting and carrying items which may weigh up to 25 pounds.
Position spends approximately 95% of time standing at a production machine and 5% walking or moving about the production area.

This position is accountable for managing the activities of delivery drivers and assistants who deliver pre-sold products to customers' locations throughout servicing counties. This is a front-line leadership role working directly with our Delivery Drivers and Assistants, Customers and Account Managers. Reporting to the Delivery Manager, this position works closely with the Drivers and Warehouse to ensure safe, accurate, on-time deliveries to our customers.
Job Duties:
Supervises drivers with leadership and communication and develops teamwork; fosters cooperation between drivers and warehouse employees.
Observes safe work habits and coaches to improve safety at all times; conducts safety checks.
Reviews with Delivery Manager the delivery routes to help determine route profitability and proper logistics. Debriefs drivers on time windows and improvements that can be made to avoid delays, reduces mileage and increases cases per route. Follows up with drivers for feedback after route changes.
Trains delivery drivers to work safely and efficiently at all times and retrains when expectations are not met. Provides feedback to delivery drivers on progress from observations, accuracy of deliveries using Encompass, customer service and performance.
Provides follow-up training with all delivery drivers and assistants on work related injuries, near misses and collisions.
Discussions with drivers on loading and selection issues for follow-up with warehouse supervision for improvement in stacking, securing product and the proper loading to prevent damage and improve unloading efficiencies.
Reviews productivity, accuracy reports, and new hire training process to best service our customers and perform safe productive deliveries. Take appropriate action as necessary.
Mentors and oversees new delivery drivers and assistants.
Tracks performance of all drivers through ride-withs and conducts spot checks.
Ensures good working relationships within the department and with other departments, communicates effectively with associates and managers.
Monitors Delivery Drivers to ensure proper procedures are being followed.
Adheres to all OSHA Safety Requirements, DOT regulations, and Federal and State laws for the delivery and distribution of goods.
Communicates to driver associates their responsibilities and requirements.
