Job Purpose: The purpose of the Warehouse Associate is to perform a variety of tasks efficiently, safely, and accurately to ensure customer service excellence. What You Will Be Doing: As the Parts Warehouse Associate you will be responsible for pulling stock orders for customers, technicians and other stores in the Yancey family. The Parts Warehouse Associate will also be responsible for daily cycle counts, maintaining a clean warehouse and using the man lifts in a safe manner. Primary Responsibilities: Perform and enter daily cycle counts each morning prior to receiving stock or billing out any items. Receive all stock orders each day and properly bin locate any items that do not already have bin locations assigned. Inspect worn cores after issuing credit. Review all part and core credits issued from previous day to verify receipt. Build hoses utilizing proper assembly and contamination control techniques. Pull all orders in a timely manner including branch transfers received prior to cut-off, delivering shop orders, and assisting customers with loading. Maintain a clean warehouse by sweeping and cleaning each day. Process and return cores each week. Respond to all warranty parts return requests each week. Purge unneeded items from warranty hold areas monthly. Additional Responsibilities: Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner. Additional duties as assigned by manager. Who We Are Looking For: To be successful in this position you should be organized, show an attention for detail and a sense of urgency. You should have basic computer skills, safety conscious and the willingness to learn. The ability to multitask, problem solve and provide superior customer service are essential to this position as well. Secure the product with stretch wrap and attach the correct labels. Record materials, weight, counts, and product condition using the RF system. Operate a forklift, pallet jack, or dock loader safely to move product. Load and unload products on and off pallets Conduct inventory as needed. Label, sort, stack, wrap, and tie product as required. Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area; sweep as needed. Wear company-provided or approved cold-weather PPE at all times during warehouse operations. Follow all safety protocols during operations. Keep the work area safe and clean, including mopping up any spills caused by cold storage or thawing processes.
