Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler/Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations. This role involves handling materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting manufacturing areas, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
Key Responsibilities
Material Handling & Warehouse Operations
Review customer orders and manage the stocking, examination, and distribution of materials in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environments.
Move materials between loading docks, trucks, storage areas, and production lines.
Identify, label, and record material locations to maintain accurate inventory.
Complete material transactions in SAP, generate non-conformance reports in IQMS, and close tasks in MFG-based Cell Fusion applications.
Perform and report cycle counts.
Oversee crating operations and audit outbound materials.
Operate forklifts, trucks, cranes, and other material-moving equipment as required.
Coordinate nonstandard crating, rigging, or trucking needs through appropriate channels.
Prepare finished products for shipment by locating, picking, packing, and loading materials.
Safety & Compliance
Complete all required safety training.
Follow safe work practices, including lifting limits (max 35 lbs), using ergonomic supports, and taking necessary stretch breaks.
Adhere to all personal and product safety guidelines, including PPE usage, clean-room procedures, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO & ZEST).
Use fixtures such as hoists, cranes, and lifting tools to support safe assembly and movement of materials.
Perform Risk Management by Walking Around (RMBWA), documenting and escalating hazards as required.
Respond promptly to unsafe practices and escalate concerns to safety representatives or management as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience operating material-handling equipment (MHE).
Forklift training or certification preferred.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to manage complexity, meet deadlines, and support process improvements.

Determines shipping method for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates.

Layout and builds control panels according to designs provided by engineering. Wires panels according to designs and appropriate regulatory standards in a neat and workmanlike manner.
Marks all project shelves with job number, job name and PM assigned to the project. The area where material is placed needs to be clearly marked so that it is not accidentally removed for another project.
Any material that is transferred to or from any stock location must be properly documented within the accounting system, and/or a packing list prepared for shipment to the customer.

10. Report all defective equipment to maintenance and/or misuse of equipment to Lead or supervisor immediately.
11. Fill out dryer and grinder material identifying sheets, return material tags, filter chart log, defect material reports and other paperwork completely and accurately.
12. Communicate to oncoming and outgoing material handler all necessary information.
13. Communicate with leads, supervisor/manager and other technicians on the coordination of priorities.
14. Use appropriate machinery and become certified, as required.
15. Assists in training Train new Material Handlers, as assigned.

Job Overview:
The Level 2 Material Handler performs basic daily operational tasks that require minimal previous experience in warehousing. The core responsibilities for this role include order fulfillment, parts delivery, and stock put away. Seldomly, utilization of warehousing equipment/machinery may be required to complete these duties. The ability to concisely communicate and work within a team is essential for success, as well as being able to effectively follow standard procedure when executing day to day tasks.

Position Summary:
The Material Handler is responsible for processing and moving finished products and materials throughout the organization.
FLSA: Non-exempt
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
* Perform transactions in the inventory system moving product around within the warehouse.
* Load and unload materials in warehouses and storage facilities. Materials may be moved from racks, skids, or carts.
* Maintain organization and inventory of product within department.
* Understand and implement required procedures (ISO standard documents).

Responsibilities
Performs duties across a variety of functional areas within the facility to support the movement, storage, and shipment of goods, including Shipping (Packaging), Receiving, Packing, Bagging, Hardware, Cycle Counting, Inventory Audit and Put away.
Duties will include but are not limited to tasks designated as level 1 tasks in the above departments such as: packaging and shipping sales orders, stock put away, picking parts and product for orders, staging, routing, and loading trailers.
Operate warehouse equipment (i.e. forklift, wave, pallet jack, etc) according to instructions and safety guidelines
Performs in line quality checks to ensure that established quality standards are being maintained.

Criteria
Prior experience in warehousing, shipping, or receiving preferred.
Prior Inventory Control experience preferred.
Prior forklift and pallet jack experience preferred. Must be able to pass standup forklift certification upon hire.
High school education or equivalent preferred.
Ability to read, comprehend, and speak English at a level to effectively utilize and interpret work and safety instructions.
Demonstrates strong listening skills and the ability to follow direction
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is required to constantly stand, walk, talk and hear. The associate must be able to frequently move, push, pull, lift or carry heavy objects or materials up to 50 pounds
This role requires being onsite in the factory Monday through Friday.
Work Conditions
Work is performed in a distribution/manufacturing setting. There may be exposure to airborne particles, chemicals, fumes, flammable materials, dirt, grease, and electrical equipment (Personal Protective Equipment provided where required).
