What a typical day looks like:
Physical preparation of all shipments.
Receive material and store it correctly using implemented procedures.
Keep accurate filling of receipt and shipping documentation with correct lot trace ability tags.
Keep and maintain tracking of shipping containers.
Operate a forklift truck.
Follow all EHS policies and procedures.
Perform accurate month end inventories and understand part flow in plant and where to stock it.
Responsible for loading all production material for the assigned production lines.

Kilgore Companies, a Quikrete Materials company, is looking for a Loader Operator at our Asphalt Plant in West Jordan, Utah. This position is primarily responsible for running a front-end loader while working with the underground utility crews managing trucks, accepting deliveries, and providing parts and materials to the crew.
Roles & Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Be able to operate heavy, motorized equipment in earth moving and utility operations
* Be able to operate said equipment with efficiency & precision
* Train employees to improve operation and care of equipment
* Work independently in absence of a supervisor
* Team player that focuses on problem solving
* Any safety or mechanical issues to be reported to supervisor immediately.
* Equipment inspection log to be turned in daily.
* Do not run equipment without performing the inspection.
* Fueling of Equipment
* Equipment is to be fueled at the end of each shift.
* Operator shall always maintain control of the equipment.
* Operator shall not idle equipment when not in use. Turn it off.
* Cab shall be kept clean and maintained
* Site observations
JOB REQUIREMENTS
* Working knowledge of grades and blueprints
* Knowledge of storm drain, fused pipe and various pipeline construction and maintenance techniques
* 3+ years operator experience

Verify shipping documentation (packing slips, bills of lading, invoices) for accuracy and completeness.
Operate pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment to load and unload trucks.
Ensure all shipments meet quality standards, including proper labeling, packaging, and compliance with regulations.

This position will help either Order Processing or Shipping operations of the warehouse supplying gospel teachings, resources, or services accessible to all in a simple and affordable way, supporting the mission of the Church. The incumbent performs daily receiving, warehousing, selecting, and shipping tasks. Incumbents replenish, audit, inventory, document, ship materials domestically and internationally, and/or deliver commodities. The incumbent uses heavy material handling equipment such as forklifts, electric pallet jacks, automatic strapping equipment, and so on. Incumbents may work directly with customers, ecclesiastical leaders, and others to resolve order delays and make order corrections. They may drive cars and trucks to transport materials/ commodities and may take physical inventories. This position provides entry or training level warehousing experience in which the incumbent performs various receiving, stores, and/or shipping functions under close supervision.
This is a temporary, full-time position with a fixed term. Meaning, employment will conclude either on the specified end date or earlier if circumstances require.
If selected, you will either join the Order Processing department or Shipping department. Global Distribution Services will have sole discretion to which department you will be assigned to.

Forklift Operator: Drives gasoline, liquefied gas, or electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift, boom, scoop, lift beam and swivel hook, fork grapple, clamps, elevating platform, or trailer hitch, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the following duties.
