In this position you will be moving materials in our warehouse using either a sit down or stand up forklift and providing inventory support. Work Location & Schedule Location: 2970 Walker Drive, Green Bay, WI 54311 Schedule: 12-hour 2-2-3 non-rotating schedule Responsibilities Comply with all safety regulations and company policies. Support and participate in continuous improvement efforts to include Kaizen, 5S and other events, as required of this position. This includes activities to this specific position/department, as well as company-wide initiatives. Operate forklift and clamp truck to take finished goods away from press, lay down raw stock (paper or poly rolls) for next shift, return product or rolls of stock to warehouse, and receive customer owned material. Operate wrapper/wrap machine to wrap finished goods by following customer specification guidelines and stage product in warehouse. Complete and maintain records for example; ensuring “return to inventory” tags are initialed and filled out by operators before returning product to warehouse; applying customer color coded label during unloading before product is put in inventory; forklift safety checks. Conduct incoming and outgoing trailer inspections for product damage and contamination and keeping proper records as needed. Perform machine/forklift clean-ups as required. Maintain a clean, organized, “set in order”, and “shine” environment in the work areas, i.e. sweeping dock area/warehouse, empty garbage cans, clean forklifts, assist operators with clean ups, etc. Attend and participate in meetings and training sessions as required (e.g. safety, quality, production, teams, informational, continuous improvement, and others as requested. Troubleshoot forklift or clamp truck problems and determine which problems need to escalate to maintenance and/or team coaches. All other assignments assigned by management. This is not an exhaustive list of duties or functions and may not necessarily comprise all the "essential functions" for purposes of the ADA. Qualifications Ability to perform basic computer operations such as email, data entry, navigation skills within press operation and data systems, and operate a computer keyboard Mathematical skills required to compute percentages, weights, and must be able to measure and calculate the supplies required to complete each job as scheduled Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, such as machine operation instructions, safety instructions, etc. Operate powered vehicles such as forklift and scissors lift, will need to be able to on and off the vehicle multiple times during the shift. Forklift and clamp truck certification Manual dexterity and accurate eyesight, including color vision is required for workers. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to successfully pass a post-offer drug screen and physical. High school diploma/GED required. Self-motivated, but also able to work as an effective team member. Able to work 12- hour shifts and overtime as needed.
