Your responsibilities will include: Key Responsibilities: Freight Handling: Safely and efficiently handle and move freight, including unloading and loading goods from trucks or other transport vehicles. Sorting and Organizing: Sort and organize freight or products according to predetermined guidelines, ensuring proper placement and storage within the facility. Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by tracking incoming and outgoing shipments and communicating any discrepancies to the relevant personnel. Equipment Operation: Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks to facilitate the unloading and loading process, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including supervisors, warehouse personnel, and delivery staff, to ensure the smooth handling and transfer of goods. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Efficiency: Work efficiently and proactively to meet deadlines and contribute to the overall productivity of the operation. Qualifications: Previous experience in lumping, warehouse operations, or a related field is preferred but not required. Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy objects. Familiarity with warehouse equipment and operations is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Understanding of safety procedures and guidelines within a warehouse setting.
