JOB SUMMARY/ JOB DUTIES:
* SAP commits are necessary, and all knowledge must be understood and used correctly.
* This position will be required to receive all products back from production. Products will be received via an automated stacker/or the possibility of hand stacking when a stacker is not available.
* All stacker equipment lockout must be known, safely and correctly operated per the procedures.
* Separates product by variety and day for storage.
* Pushes 400 lbs. plus (on wheels) as needed.
* Manually stacks cases keeping up with line for freezer orders.
* Supplies empty baskets to production lines.
* Can palletize Hearth products 10 high; bulk rolls 13 high
* Must drive various types of lift trucks and pass licensing requirements.
* Must be able stack baskets 15 high when picking outbound loads, 17 high occasionally (8 1/2 feet).
* Must count accurately, and lift 30 lbs. from floor to above
* Picks cases using MOA numbers.
* Loads trucks at a minimum rate of 185 pieces/hour.
* Reads and interprets pick list.
* Secures loads on trucks and marks properly for identification.

Position Overview:
The forklift operator works closely with the Plant Shipping Supervisor to ensure the packaging, handling, and shipment of a quality product that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
Duties And Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Plant Shipping Supervisor, the Forklift Operators responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following:
Responsibility of maintaining activities of transporting product, equipment, throughout the facility with a focus on optimizing Safety, Quality, Productivity and Spoilage.
Ability to operate, safe operation, and the maintaining of forklifts.
Communicates all pertinent information between departments and between shifts on changes to equipment, production schedules, production problems or any other related information.
Works with department warehousing, scheduling, process supplying, and product shipments.
Assists and trains and/or coaching of all new operators as needed or required.
Applies skills, methods to improve plant production.
Inspects products to ensure compliance to standards
Contributes in maintaining quality and recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimal efficiencies.
Complete and/or administer necessary documentation such as production sheets, pallet ticketing, scanning, monthly SAFE cards, accident/near miss/hazard reporting and process control sheets.
Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned.

Minimum Requirements
2-3 year(s) experience in warehousing and high speed manufacturing environment.
Certified and at least three years of proven forklift experience.

Responsible for verifying materials received were ordered; match to purchase order or verify with Procurement; while also verifying quantity delivered, inspect materials received for damage, mark inventory items with the appropriate stock number and location, and notify plant personnel that materials ordered have been received. Resolves receipt issues with material suppliers over damaged goods, shipments, incorrect materials, and delivery of materials to the incorrect staging location; and works with suppliers to arrange for pick-up items that were shipped incorrectly, damaged or were not ordered
Signs and dates the delivery ticket; receipts are entered on the date the receipt occurred and receipt entry is accurate and the proper Unit of Measure (UOM) is used for the receipt; same as the purchase order UOM.
Performs assigned cycle counts on the date assigned, verifies item being counted is the correct item, quantity counted is accurate, and notifies Supervisor, Material Control or other designated client representative, if an issue arises during the count.
Ensures inventory items are placed in the appropriate locations the day they are received; new inventory items are assigned a location when received; and Supervisor, Material Control, or their designee is advised of the location for entry on the item object in the appropriate inventory systems.
Responsible for ensuring that the warehouse open areas, aisles and yard are kept clean; free of trash and debris; trash and debris are disposed of properly; and floors are swept no less than weekly.
Ensures raw materials storage tanks are dipped daily and notifies the Supervisor, Material Control, or their designee, when material needs to be ordered.
Prepares shipping memos for all material, equipment, scrap, etc. sent off site; includes materials returned to suppliers, scrap sales, equipment sent out for repair, disposal of regulated and non-hazardous wastes, and materials sent out for fabrication.
Works with Procurement personnel to purchase materials when needed and with suppliers when assigned to expedite materials.
Assists Account Payables with the resolution of receipt and invoice issues related to material deliveries.
Must have 2 to 5 years experience entering SAP transactions and have deep understanding of the entire SAP platform from manual entry to RF Scanner entry.
Internal Controls:
Understands and complies with established departmental processes and procedures designed to support internal controls efforts. Identifies and brings to the attention of department management internal controls deficiencies.

This position will be cross functional to both the Bridgeview and BP4 (Massasoit) locations as the
business need dictates.
Shift:
7AM - 7PM and 7PM - 7AM On a 2-2-3 schedule
Material Handler Lead I
Summary: Safely and effectively lead shift materials team to ensure product flow is effectively distributed throughout the plant and local Distribution Centers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for directing the work assignments of a team of lift truck operators and carrier drivers
Drives a culture of safe work practices
Drive team oriented environment
Execute standard work to ensure production materials are replenished to ensure continuous operations
Effectively communicate daily priorities (daily meetings, one on one engagements, Tier Meetings, etc.)
Coordinate/collaborate warehouse operations with all departments.
Perform daily audits (Safety, warehouse, forklifts, line inventories, etc.)
Provide supervisory support, as needed
Provide forklift training for new hires and re-certifications as needed.
Support the Inventory Team as needed.
Supports the receipt of railcar/bulk truck material.
Performs other tasks as directed.
Requirements:
Previous logistics warehouse leadership experience required
WMS software experience required
Strong interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills
Must be detail oriented, strong organizational, math and problem solving skills
Must be able pass the LTO training and testing
Must have experience with Microsoft Office (excel, word, etc.)
Bilingual communication skills preferred
High School diploma or equivalent required

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE
The Lift Truck Operator (LTO) operates stand-up equipment to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, move, or place in racks, products/materials in the cold storage. The ideal candidate will move materials in the warehouse, CPG, Natural Ingredients, and load/ unload truck trailers or shipping containers.
Conducts daily inspections on assigned equipment which may include but not be limited to stand-up, sit-down, high reach, quad-mast, pallet jacks, or double pallet jack equipment.
Consistently uses a radio frequency scan gun which is connected to computer (VMU) on lift that directs, identifies and tracks materials as it is moved.
Responsible for physically rotating materials to ensure proper aging.
Utilizes Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to relocate materials to the proper department for utilization.
Will unload, transport, and store all incoming materials/finished goods using WMS.
Other duties as assigned.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED.
One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to read and write in English.
Comfortable working in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
Must be able to work as a team and follow instructions.
Confident learning and using the equipment and tools used to perform the job.
Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime.
Possess basic mathematical skills. (such as adding and subtracting)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience using a warehouse management system which includes RF scan guns, and handheld RF units.
Knowledge of WMS, preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Exposure to cold temperature (34 degrees to sub-zero temperatures)
Must be able to lift up to 50-55 pounds consistently.
