ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Record inventory transactions such as receipts and work order processing in SAP * Receive and unpack shipments and verify contents against purchase orders and invoices; record receiving reports on all merchandise; prepare reports concerning shortages and damaged materials received. * Verifies that shipments requiring receiving inspection were routed to Quality Inspections Department for processing prior to accepting and recording in SAP * Contacts Quality Inspection Department to notify them of inspection requirement or missing signature for buy off. * Control physical movement of stockroom inventory and inventory documents. * Arrange stockroom inventory and inventory documents for general use. * Coordinate the transport and transfer of supplies and equipment from one area to another and the filling of requisitions from various departments. * Maintain outstanding order, purchase order, receiving, requisition, delivery and shipping files, conduct special and scheduled stockroom inventories and audits of records. * Perform work order manufacturing/accounting close and research variances. * Pull parts from inventory and electronically issue the work order requested by the planner. * Assist with conducting periodic cycle counts and year-end physical inventory to ensure inventory accuracy.
