NATURE & SCOPE
This position will report to the Materials Supervisor or Group Leader as assigned. Work will primarily be within the Materials Department, and can vary between material movement, shipping, kitting, and receiving as needed. May be assigned the training and mentoring of junior mechanics.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Prior Supply Chain experience preferred; good overall knowledge of BAC products.

Responsible for all aspects of warehousing, including picking of orders, shipping/receiving, inventory control, over-the-counter sales, and delivery of product to alternate company location and to customers. Some hands-on value-added duties will be required (assembly, labeling, altering of product).
Required Education and Experience:
Warehousing experience is desirable (but not necessary)
Must be computer literate and must possess good communications skills
Must be extremely detail-oriented and able to work in a very fast-paced environment
Must have reliable transportation
Must have basic math skills (adding and subtracting)
Positions are full-time or part-time.
Shifts are 8 hours per day, Monday-Friday, you can expect to work between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5 p.m. or 9:30 a.m. and 6:30p.m.

About the Position
The Stand Up Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Powered Industrial Equipment as well as other equipment when necessary to move, load, unload, and stack products in preparation for shipping and receiving demands to meet customer needs.
Responsibilities
• Safely operate Powered Industrial equipment to move products or materials for distribution such as reach, slip sheet, push/pull equipment, and drive-in pallet racking.
• Load, unload, and store products and/or materials safely, efficiently and accurately.
• Stack and/or transport materials and products to designated areas safely, efficiently and accurately.
• Use equipment to scan product and print labels.
• Operating a WMS inventory system.
• Complete paperwork and operate inventory management systems as needed.
• Ensure product rotation procedures are followed.
• Complete cycle count as required and support quality as needed
• Perform daily safety inspections per the Safety Checklist on forklift trucks.
• Ensure facility is inspection ready at all times for FDA, and customer needs.
• Communicate and report any incidents to supervisor.
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed to ensure 6S program sustainability.
• Active participation, engagement in CI programs and systems.
• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Supervisor and as required by business needs.
Qualifications
• Minimum two years prior Stand Up Forklift operating experience.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Pass Background and Drug screen
• Basic computer skills
