JOB SUMMARY/ JOB DUTIES:
The MaterialHandler is responsible for receiving, storing, picking and distributing material and products within establishment.

* Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
* Transports materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
* Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
* Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, or other stock items and distributes items to production areas.
* Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets.
* Marks materials with identifying information.
* Opens bales, crates, and other containers.
* Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
* Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
* Certified to drive material handling equipment.
* Transports stored items within the warehouse.
* Loads and unloads trailers of palletized and non-palletized product.
* Utilizes manual and automated material handling equipment.
* Practices and adheres to appropriate safety and hygiene guidelines/procedures for safe housekeeping and personal protection.
* Keeps work area clean and removes trash from work area floor.
* Stores supplies in designated areas.
* Keeps work area aisles/exits clear and free from obstructions.
* Follows instructions for safe lifting/carrying of various sizes, shapes, and weights; identifies/reports defective equipment.
* Reports all job-related injuries to supervision.
* Takes photos of incoming or outgoing load and log items and pictures for documentation.
* Uses computer to enter records.
* Where applicable, climbs and works at the heights of material tanks.
* May climb on top or into tank trailers to check seals and take samples.
* May prepare and takes a cycle count inventory of all merchandise; records counts on cycle count sheets.
* Mandatory overtime may be required.
* Supports and participates in Continuous Improvement initiatives including 5S (sort, set, shine, standardize, and sustain).
* May perform other duties as required.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED and/or 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment required. Previous experience with Oracle or similar based WMS system; a minimum of 1 year experience in a warehouse position; previous forklift experience is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits: The starting rate for this full-time, hourly position is $21.40 per hour plus $0.25 Shift Differential.

Job Overview:
The MaterialHandler under general supervision, distributes either production or non - production items and materials to various locations throughout the warehouse. Materials may consist of purchased parts, in process parts, or finished goods.

Job Summary:
With reporting responsibilities to the Customer Success Manager or Warehouse Manager, this position is directly responsible for the day to day dock activities, document preparations and filing. May be required to understand customer pricing and when asked must accurately update transactions in the computer database. This position will have daily interaction with the Plastic Express warehouse employees, company and non-company drivers, dispatchers and associates, shipping companies, company vendors and support staff. The Warehouse Coordinator will work closely with and provide prompt feedback to: Sales and Marketing, Accounting, Human Resources and other company management. During the course of business, the Warehouse Coordinator is not to share any confidential information with anyone other than their direct manager or executives of Plastic Express.
Essential Functions:

Responsibilities and Duties:
Maintaining warehouse shipping, receiving, and delivery files.
Maintain and replenish essential office supplies.
Maintain UPS system and prepare end of day reports.
Answer phones, forward calls and take messages.
Research information when needed.
Maintain inventory by checking for any discrepancies.
Enter location changes provided by warehouse attendants.
Coordinate sample requests and repacks.
Preform cycle counts on customer's inventory.
Assist in customer yearly inventories.
Monitor “Open Order” & “No Location” screens to make sure all orders are being updated.
Maintain supply inventory report of essential dunnage materials and/or packaging supplies.
Assist the department managers and supervisors with special assignments
Additional Functions/Duties:
Receiving:
Maintain and monitor delivery appointment log on Plastic Express data base.
Notify customer of late truck arrivals and inform/ get approval for OT charges.
Maintain an accurate driver's sign in log and make sure drivers are signing in and out with arrival and departure times.
Match and check receivers with documents brought in by company drivers and delivering carriers.
Input material counts into system and issue a receiving document and labels to receiving attendant.
Notify CSR & management immediately concerning shortages or damaged material. Provide photos of damaged material to customer if necessary.
Check freight after labeling to ensure product is labeled correctly.
Track daily all receiving activities on the open order report are completed and updated properly.
Work with other company team members to arrange receiving appointments and pick-up schedules with carriers and port terminal operations.
Notify Warehouse Management of any discrepancies.
Shipping:
Monitor and maintain the Open Order Report in the Warehouse database.
Review customer orders against shipping requests and insure 100% accuracy of our work instructions that are being issued for order execution.
Contact CSR with any questions on orders.
Prepare bill of lading; pick slip, packing slip and address labels if required.
Match customers provided documents to Pick Slip and BOL.
Issues pick slip, packing slip, and required labels to warehouse staff.
Receive pick slip back from warehouse, check for discrepancies and attach to bill of lading and stage in carriers holding file.
Documents any extra services on picking slip that are forwarded to the CSR for customer billing.
Issue bill of lading to carrier for signature.
Scan sign BOL to customer or CSR.
Provide photos if necessary to customers on freight loaded on to containers/trailers.
Arrange shipments of material.
Assist Warehouse Manager and Operations Manager with special assignments.
Notify Warehouse Management of any discrepancies.
Qualifications and Skills:
Must be able to safely operate a forklift and must pass site forklift certification.
Must have the ability to think independently and make decisions that are in the company's best interest.
Must possess excellent interpersonal, communications and organizational skills. Must be multi-task oriented with the ability to handle many activities simultaneously.
Must be able to work overtime, long hours, weekends and holidays when needed.
Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read and speak in English required
Preferred Education and Experience:
Previous warehousing experience is preferred.
Customer service and industry experience preferred
Some Advanced education or working toward a degree
SAP or other ERP system experience/certification(s) given consideration
Acellos Highjump experience/certification(s) given consideration
Ability to read and speak in Spanish, Chinese, Hindi, or Japanese will be given consideration

Work Environment:
This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers.

Job Overview
The Inventory Clerk is responsible for all Warehouse Inventory Control Processes and maintaining accurate records in accordance with Company Policies, including performing the Physical Count Process and Inventory Reconciliation; investigating and correcting all discovered discrepancies; ensuring all Quarterly, Monthly, Weekly, and Daily Requirements are achieved; and communicating important information regarding the condition, trends, or processes impacting the ability to maintain adequate control of the inventory of all Warehouse Goods including Finished Goods, Raw Materials, and Deposit Items with Warehouse Management.

* Identifies trends and processes impacting Inventory Control and communicates to warehouse management while making recommendations for process improvements

Warehouse Associate, Part-time (Bottle Picker) is responsible for picking and packing inventoried products from warehouse bin locations for customer orders. Candidate must be able to work assigned schedule Sunday- Thursday starting at 5:30pm until 11 p.m.
Job Description
Properly selects items from specific locations to fill customer orders
Replenishes pick lines with inventory
Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area
May be assigned facilities maintenance and other duties as needed by management
Job Requirements:
High School degree or equivalent preferred
Minimum 1-2 years of general warehouse experience preferred
Ability to safely lift 40-60 lbs repeatedly
Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety policies and procedures
Good attendance and attention to detail is required
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and be an effective team member
Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Join a great team in Charlotte NC, as a general labor warehouse worker you'll be responsible for the production or packaging of a variety of manufactured products. This position is a support role for several areas, including but not limited to packing, assembly, inspection, and labeling. Candidates must be flexible and perform various warehouse labor positions.
Shift: 2nd Shift
Schedule: 4pm - 12:30am
Pay rate: $16.00/hr.
Responsibilities:
* Perform production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling, and sorting
* Production on a fast-paced assembly line or environment
* Load materials and products into package processing equipment
* Must be able to work 1st or 3rd shift and weekends as required
* Perform related duties as required by supervisors
* Maintain the work area in a clean, orderly condition and follow safety regulations
* Must be able to keep up with the pace of production.
Requirements
* Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions
* Maintain the production pace of other team members
* Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
* Repetitive motions using hands
* Must be able to work 8-hour shifts.
* May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts
* Due to the environment of the warehouse, you must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions including extreme heat, humidity, and cold.
