Oversees resolution of incoming/outgoing shipment discrepancies. Escalates critical issues to the appropriate level and engages with the correct stakeholders. Leads coordination and confirmation of receipt/shipping documentation for internal/external customers. Serves as point of contact for priority incoming/outgoing shipments. Monitors shipping/receiving discrepancies. Develops solutions to mitigate errors. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Picking and filling orders using a laptop computer, if applicable for Lighting Products, Machine Parts, and/or Special Customer Requirements. Offload material from delivery truck, sort, reconcile, enter information into ERP system and prepare for counting process. Responsible to Open & Close office/warehouse building using access key's and security codes (if applicable). Operate Warehouse Forklift & Raymond Picker to pull & return parts from inventory (if applicable). Process orders and update ERP system and/or customer portal. Lift and carry cartons weighing up to 50lbs and manage cartons in excess of 35 lbs utilizing available safety tools. Operate company delivery truck for movement of material between buildings and/or customer deliveries. Reports to - Warehouse Lead or Logistics Manager Job Summary: Reporting to the shift Warehouse Lead or Logistics Manager, this position has primary responsibility for all functions and paperwork relating to pulling, packing and shipping material out of our distribution facility to customers, vendors, or other NEFCO distribution facilities. Job Duties: * Maximizes sales potential through effective and proper procedures for pulling, packing and shipping all products leaving the warehouse. * Verifying actual products received against items listed in RF technology or ERP system. * Loading trucks and using work devices such as forklifts, cherry pickers, or sorting bins. * Operating machinery including a forklift in a safe and proper manner * Pulling, packing, and shipping all products that are leaving the warehouse. * Confirming product integrity and ensuring products are placed with the correct and appropriate shipping labels and outbound trucks. * Communicate consistently with management, all branch personnel. Requirements Qualifications: * Ability to use warehouse layouts for planning purposes * Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, or Outlook a plus * Basic computer skills * Must have a positive, hard-working attitude * Ability to establish priorities, work independently and little supervision * Ability to multitask * Excellent communication skills * Ability to stand on concrete floor for long periods of time * Must be able to work in various climate conditions such as cold, heat, humidity for a long period of time * Ability to crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl and twist for lifting * Ability to safely lift to 50 lbs. * Ability to review and interpret computer images and written documents * This is a non-exempt position, eligible for overtime. Duties include the operation of a wide variety of equipment including forklifts, stake trucks and box type trucks. Requirements include moving large diverse loads within the shipyard, at the sub base and on public highways. Job also requires hand sorting, scanning and delivering packages from various warehouses and offices, working in unheated environment and the ability to qualify for a TLD (J-training provided). Job requires a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B or equivalent. Air brake endorsement required. A bus and/or hazmat endorsement to the individual's CDL would be desirable. Applicant must have a clean, safe driving record. Applicant must be able to obtain a medical examiner's certificate from the company's medical services and must be willing to submit to random drug/alcohol testing. Applicant must be able to work any shift.
