Our Warehouse Cleaning/Janitorial positions perform the following duties within designated work areas, as assigned at the beginning of each shift:
Cleaning restrooms, break areas (indoor/outdoor), office areas
Sweeping, mopping, dusting, removing trash
Ensure all walkways are clean and tidy at all times
Clean totes and other items
Some deep cleaning, as needed
Follow all safety and quality standards
Other basic janitorial duties as assigned
Requirements for our Warehouse Cleaning/Janitorial Positions:
Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds
Walking in and around the facility with great frequency throughout the entire shift
Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours
Background Check and Drug Test Required
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals sheets/documents (generally in English; may have in Spanish where state required)
Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet (foot pedals), manual (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation)
KBS utilizes the KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software for accurate recording of employee work hours, attendance management, completion of required training, and distribution of important employment-related information. All non-exempt employees are required to download and use the KBSPresence app on their personal mobile devices to clock in and out for their shifts and breaks. In accordance with applicable local laws, cell phone reimbursement is provided to support the use of personal devices for work-related tasks.

Production Support
Providing printed pick lists to the Production Team.
Ensure all machine centers have the necessary materials to complete assigned production runs.

Primary Job Functions:

Forklift Operator Responsibilities:
Responsible for operating a forklift in the warehouse and production areas of the plant.
Prior to shift start, ensure propane tanks are filled and forklift equipment is properly blown out and all fluids checked.
Grease fittings if needed.
All raw materials are to be stacked in a neat and orderly fashion.
The warehouse is to be swept daily and trash bins emptied when full.
All trucks loaded are to have proper paperwork before being loaded (packing slips and weight ticket). All trucks loaded are to be counted and recounted by another associate and both persons sign off that the proper amount of product has been verified and loaded.
Packaging slips must be attached to all loads and packing slip enclosed.
Load seals must be attached to all trucks by the forklift operator before the truck leaves the dock area. Plywood is to be stacked during the teardown of pods.
When the plywood rack is full, it is to be banded and stacked for later use.
Re Stacks and bags returned to system must be worked on daily and recorded.
Seat belts are to be worn at all times and the lift must be operated at a safe speed.
Junk pallets are to be stacked and put in their proper place until they can be disposed of.
Clean up warehouse at the end of shift.
Responsible for assisting other production areas, as needed.
Move and wrap completed products.
Assist the Shift Leads to start and stop the pellet mills.
Any other duties as assigned.
Forklift Operator Qualifications/Education:

Springfield, OR Scheduled Days: 1st shift (4am start) Monday - Friday Starting Hourly Rate: $20.00 Full Time, Benefits, and Weekly Pay Impact Workforce Solutions is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator for the True Value Distribution Center in Springfield, OR. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently performing various distribution activities, including unloading merchandise, stacking and loading cartons for shipment, stocking shelves, and maintaining accurate records of goods received and shipped.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
Unloads merchandise from trailers, lifting cartons and product, checks goods received
against purchase orders or invoices.
Stacks and loads cartons and other containers for outbound shipment.
Stocks shelves with goods received.
Maintains and verifies records of goods received or shipped to facilitate the flow of merchandise through the distribution center.
Operates material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move merchandise.
Utilizes small hand tools, pallet handlers and hand trucks.
Select and pick product for shipment from computerized store order requests, matching inventory to order numbers.
Prepares merchandise for shipping using shrink wrap machine or other devices.
Uses mobile handheld or hands-free RF devices to scan and track materials.

Qualifications & Experience
At least 18 years of age
High School diploma or GED
Minimum 6 months recent forklift experience.
Committed to adhering to all safety processes and protocols.
Must have the ability to do simple mathematical calculations to ensure accuracy of counts.
Ability to communicate effectively, follow instructions, and discern moving objects and
warning signals.
Ability to meet qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policy and the ADA.
Licenses & Certifications:
Ability to be trained and licensed/certified to operate material handling equipment.
Physical Requirements

Work Environment:

Forklift Operator Responsibilities:
* Responsible for operating a forklift in the warehouse and production areas of the plant.
* Prior to shift start, ensure propane tanks are filled and forklift equipment is properly blown out and all fluids checked.
* Grease fittings if needed.
* All raw materials are to be stacked in a neat and orderly fashion.
* The warehouse is to be swept daily and trash bins emptied when full.
* All trucks loaded are to have proper paperwork before being loaded (packing slips and weight ticket). All trucks loaded are to be counted and recounted by another associate and both persons sign off that the proper amount of product has been verified and loaded.
* Packaging slips must be attached to all loads and packing slip enclosed.
* Load seals must be attached to all trucks by the forklift operator before the truck leaves the dock area. Plywood is to be stacked during the teardown of pods.
* When the plywood rack is full, it is to be banded and stacked for later use.
* Re Stacks and bags returned to system must be worked on daily and recorded.
* Seat belts are to be worn at all times and the lift must be operated at a safe speed.
* Junk pallets are to be stacked and put in their proper place until they can be disposed of.
* Clean up warehouse at the end of shift.
* Responsible for assisting other production areas, as needed.
* Move and wrap completed products.
* Assist the Shift Leads to start and stop the pellet mills.
* Any other duties as assigned.
Forklift Operator Qualifications/Education:
* High School diploma or GED preferred.
* Prior forklift and production line experience preferred.
* Will require good eye, hand and foot coordination.
* Must be able to pass the company forklift training.
* Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time and multi-task
* Will be lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for a minimum of 7 hours per day.
* Required to read and interpret scales.
* Requires mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to adjust the weight and timing of bailer and various other simple maintenance problems.
* Requires the ability to do simple math calculations.
