Move finished goods to the shipping area, check count against shipping documents. Move component parts and materials to various production work centers.
· Keep supervision informed of any discrepancies on incoming materials or shipments and make corrections as instructed. Answer inquiries regarding receipt of materials, shipments made or pending, and check various details for Material Control and others.
· Perform other related duties as directed by supervisor outside the receiving department and adhere to company safety and housekeeping policy and work rules.
· Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
· Comply with all company rules, safety policies and procedures.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position requires the use of special safety precautions and/or equipment, e.g., working around operating machines, working with hazardous chemicals and materials, etc.
While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking over slippery surfaces; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as samples and record boxes. This position requires frequent pulling, pushing, carrying, and lifting up to 70lbs.
