The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in acquiring new customers and growing existing accounts to achieve revenue growth objectives. This role is ideal for someone with a background in tires or automotive service who thrives in an outside sales environment, is comfortable with regional travel, and can confidently prospect, call on potential accounts, pre-qualify prospects, and close sales. Responsibilities * Prospect, visit, and grow a base of independent tire dealers, repair shops, and automotive service centers * Use a multi-pronged sales approach: cold calling, pre-arranged appointments, and on-the-fly visits * Represent Weldon Tire professionally and build trust with accounts through consistency and responsiveness * Proactively manage customer accounts and customer service needs * Track and report on customer activity, market trends, and sales performance using company KPI tools * Periodic travel to expand business, develop relationships, and finalize business matters Interested candidates must meet the following position requirements: * Clean, valid driver's license, and comfortable with frequent travel * Stable, verifiable work history * At least 1 to 2 years of sales experience * Experience or strong familiarity with the tire or automotive industry is highly preferred * Exceptional relationship-building skills; with customers, suppliers, and employees * Prior automotive background preferred, not required. * Able to represent Mavis Tire in a positive way throughout the sales cycle Employee Benefits At Mavis, we understand that our people drive our success.
