What to Expect The Chassis Design Engineering team is responsible for tires, wheels, hubs, halfshafts, steering, suspension, subframes, brakes, pedals/controls, and air suspension systems on all of Tesla's passenger car and heavy vehicle (Semi Truck) programs.
