Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Assist in the mechanical design of new chemical monitoring and management systems, including modules, assemblies, and individual parts. Responsibilities include:
Creating detailed 3D models and drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD
Preparing accurate technical documentation in Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree with a minimum of two years of college
Experience in Inventor 3D CAD and AutoCAD software is strongly preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure effective collaboration with other team members.

Duties Description Under the direction of and supervision of a licensed, Professional Engineer 1/2, the incumbent will perform a variety of duties, including, but not limited to, the following:
* Provide technical review and comment for on-site wastewater treatment systems;

Minimum Qualifications This title is part of the New York Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement Statewide Program (NY HELPS).

At this time, agencies may recruit and hire employees by making temporary appointments.

LaBella's Energy Infrastructure team provides comprehensive energy efficiency and renewable energy consultancy, including feasibility analyses, and design of mechanical systems. Our engineers are well-versed in all aspects of building and energy systems design relating to a variety of new construction, renovations, and design/build projects for a variety of clientele.
The Mechanical Engineer will work with our engineers in a lead role on a variety of decarbonization/electrification projects to develop projects in feasibility stages all the way through design and construction. A successful candidate will be able to work well in a team, mentor junior engineers, and communicate effectively with clients.
Duties
Lead design of building HVAC systems and district energy systems

Requirements
8-10 years of relevant experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred
Well-rounded experience in HVAC and hydronic system design
Preferred: experience designing geothermal or district energy systems
Experience with Revit or AutoCAD
New York State Professional Engineer's license is a plus

Position Purpose:
