We are seeking a skilled MechanicalEngineer to provide support in the design and development of high-reliability mechanical systems. This includes developing concepts, evaluating them for performance, and ensuring compliance with technical specifications. Responsibilities

The Research Associate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of predictive software components, support integration into the full system, and assist with full-system testing and analysis. Responsibilities
+ Run projects independently and perform multiple aspects of mechanicalengineering services.
+ Engage in mechanical design services including conceptual studies, programming, and design development.
+ Assist in the preparation of construction documents.
+ Participate in the bidding process by preparing addenda, amendments, and tabulating bids.
+ Conduct field visits, answer RFIs, review shop drawings, and prepare record drawings during the construction phase.
+ Design and layout mechanical systems while considering alternative systems.
+ Prepare accurate and code-compliant drawings and specifications.
+ Review drawings produced by CADD technicians.
