Requirements:
Actively pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree from an ABET accredited program.

- Prepare all necessary documents to support the interior and secondary structure modification of Bombardier aircraft such as detail, assembly and installation drawings, specification documents and substantiation reports.

Performs diagnostic troubleshooting and the repair and maintenance of various mechanical systems and their associated electronic controls in county properties. Analyze product and equipment specifications and performance requirements to develop mechanical designs and drafting that can be produced by existing manufacturing methods
Complete designs on time and within the estimated hours per the current engineering schedule and within corporate and engineering department guidelines
Design with due regard to safety, economy, and ease of fabrication and operation
Confer with engineering personnel and other department employees to clarify or resolve problems
Provide necessary drawing maintenance as required to maintain good quality engineering prints
Perform other duties as assigned
SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED/PREFERRED
Ability to comprehend and apply advanced mathematics
Able to respond to instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Basic shop knowledge - manufacturing processes
EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED/PREFERRED
Currently working towards a B.S. in ME, MET, or related field
