Each ATTAIN lab is a certified Microsoft IT Academy.
Position Description: Lab Technology Coordinators (LTCs) provide on-site learning and technical support and oversight for their assigned ATTAIN lab. In coordination with their UCAWD ATTAIN Statewide Coordinator, LTCs work to achieve the outcomes specified in their Implementation Plan.
The Attain Laboratory Coordinator reports to the Associate Coordinator of Instructional Services or his/her designee and performs the following duties:
* Become proficient in the use of the ISI courseware, Microsoft curricula and any third-party software.
* Obtain and keep current Microsoft certifications related to instructional curriculum delivered at the lab.
* Demonstrate progress toward becoming a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT).
* Deliver Microsoft certification instruction to the served populations.

Job Responsibilities:
* Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
* Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas
* Accurately identify and label specimens
* Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities
* Meet department activity and production goals
* Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples
* Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
* Resolve and document any problem specimens
Required Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
* No relative experience required; 1-2+ years relative experience (lab/accessioning, production/manufacturing/warehouse environment) is a plus
* Previous medical or production experience is a plus
* Previous LabCorp experience preferred
Expectations:
* Comfortable handling biological specimens
