The ACT team provides at least 3 encounters per week per client, by the various disciplines. VOA is looking for 1 full time therapist position to be a part of this team approach. Most of the work is done in the community, as this modality targets individuals who do not benefit from traditional outpatient treatment. This model is unique, flexible, and achieves remarkable outcomes of clients staying housed, visiting ERs less often, and stabilizing with med management. Each day starts with a 1 hour morning meeting where the schedule and day is determined based on need. The day to day duties are dynamic and there is a lot of room to offer creative interventions in conjunction with the team. Qualifications * Minimum master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences - Social Work (MSW,) Clinical Social Work (CSW,) Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) or a related discipline. * Preferred - Fully Licensed Mental Health Therapist: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) * Acceptable - Associate licensure: Certified Social Worker (CSW), Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor (ACMHC). * A desire to facilitate client growth through a team approach, working with other care providers. * A desire to perform and develop counseling/therapeutic expertise in individual, family, and group therapy. * Preferred - Two years of working experience as a therapist leading individual, family, and group therapy sessions. * Preferred - One year of experience in a residential setting using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities. * Ability to plan, implement, and adjust a course of treatment as required. * Ability to pass a state background check. * Required to have CAQH profile established or updated if you have one and obtain an NPI number for credentialing purposes.
