Responsibilities Operate a variety of CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, under limited supervision. Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in setting up and operating CNC-controlled machine tools without relying on predefined procedures. Apply a broad and in-depth understanding of machining processes and techniques to produce high-quality components. Manually generate CNC part programs for simple to moderately complex parts. Perform detailed inspections of finished materials using precision hand tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and drop dial indicators, as well as advanced equipment including profilometers and CMM machines. Collaborate effectively within a manufacturing environment, engaging with cross-functional teams including Design Engineers and participating in daily shift handovers. Set up and operate secondary equipment, and perform additional tasks within the department as needed to support production goals.
