Bond & Specialty Insurance (BSI) provides management and professional liability, cyber, crime insurance, and surety bonds to or on behalf of businesses of all sizes. The BSI Claim Counsel team conducts thorough investigation, analysis, evaluation, and disposition of claims and claim litigation to achieve superior customer service and to optimize claim results. Travelers' PNP Programs Team provides coverage for Community Associations, Healthcare Institutions and Providers, Managed Care Organizations, Life and Health Underwriters and Public Adjusters. **What Will You Do?**
+ Follow operational policies to analyze, investigate, and resolve BSI claims of varying levels of severity with moderate supervision from claims management.
+ Prepare and present reports for management that accurately reflect loss development, potential/actual financial exposure, reserve adjustments, coverage issues, and claim and recovery strategies.
+ Retain, monitor, and manage outside counsel actively utilizing litigation management plans and budgets.

+ Continue to develop the ability to identify all recovery opportunities and coordinate recovery efforts with the Recovery Management Unit and Claim management.
+ Travel to and attend mediations, settlement conferences, claim conferences, field office visits, trials and depositions.

The Cybersecurity Operations team is responsible for the identification, protection, detection, response and disruption of cybersecurity events across Travelers through threat intelligence gathering, detection, and techniques to assess, support, and resolve cyber incidents. Our Cloud Engineers are tasked with designing, building, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based infrastructure and services. These efforts support innovation, application development, and technology operations across the enterprise. The team ensures that Travelers' cloud environments enable agility while maintaining reliability, performance, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with security and governance standards. Working across the full spectrum of cloud operations, Cloud Engineers handle everything from foundational infrastructure provisioning and automation to advanced architectural design and strategic planning. **What Will You Do?**
+ Responsible for performing analysis, design, and implementation of Cloud services across public cloud environments with a high degree of accuracy.
**Technical Execution:**
+ Complete intermediate end to end engineering tasks for specific system assignments including developing, analyzing, configuring, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, documenting, health monitoring/alerting, and implementing based on user or system design specifications, as well as participating in troubleshooting, conducting impact analysis and escalating appropriately.
+ Writes and supports Infrastructure-As-Code within an approved pipeline and adheres to best practices and standards.
+ Support and develop cloud automatiuon of manual tasks for improved speed and consistency. This includes AWS account Automation used to provision standard and shared AWS accounts, enable services and guardrails within them, and maintain their infrastructure and details.
+ Identify and implement opportunities to improve and optimize Travelers' environment, through tactical recommendations and strategic plans, working collaboratively with teams across technology organizations.
+ Define and implement technical requirements for Cloud solutions using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) methodologies.
+ Design cloud deployment automation workflows while performing analysis and resolution for infrastructure issues of intermediate complexity.
+ Configure and optimize cloud-based compute, storage, and networking resources ensuring efficiency, availability, and performance.
+ Implement monitoring systems for Cloud while ensuring adherence to security protocols and compliance requirements.
+ Collaborate with Technology Engineers to ensure seamless integration between infrastructure services and higher-level platform services.
**Strategic Input:**
+ Work independently on well-scoped Cloud engineering problems while prioritizing according to business objectives.
+ Contribute to the Cloud roadmap by identifying emerging technologies and services that align with business objectives.
+ Work across technology stack boundaries.
+ May perform occasional off-hour work on nights and weekends.

**Technical Expertise & Education** :
+ Three (3) years of Cloud/platform engineering experience preferred.
**Certifications:** related to the following is preferred but not required:
+ AWS Developer Associate.

+ AWS Solutions Architect Architect.

**Intermediate** **level knowledge** **with the** **following:**
+ Knowledge of process discipline and IDLC methodology.
+ Full-stack software development with GoLang, Python, and/or Javascript using the Vue framework.
+ Experience with CI/CD DevOps and configuration management tools like Jenkins, Docker, Github, GitHub Actions, and/or Puppet.
+ Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (such as Terraform TFE or AWS Cloud Formations/CDK).
+ API and Microservice topologies.
+ Cloud computing knowledge (experience implementing Cloud services).
+ Experience with Serverless architecture and Container platforms.
+ Knowledge of infrastructure technologies such as Network, Database, Server, Storage etc. preferred.

**What Will You Do?**
+ Under direct supervision, the main responsibility of this internship opportunity is to develop risk control and general insurance industry knowledge, and to assist in providing risk control support to home office leadership, commercial or construction field consultants, or staff within our specialist disciplines (property, casualty services, forensics / industrial hygiene lab).
