The Department of Agricultural and Human Sciences at NC State University is looking for a part-time Nutrition Program Research Assistant o support the delivery and evaluation of two nutrition programs, including the Health Extension for Diabetes (HED) program (a diabetes education and support program) and the PhytoRx Families produce prescription program. Duties will include helping with participant recruitment, data collection, program delivery, data analysis, manuscript writing, and presentations. The Nutrition Program Research Assistant will also help the Project Coordinator with communication efforts among project participants and stakeholders. This position will also include compensated travel to eastern North Carolina to interface with the county-based NC State Extension Family and Consumer Science Agents, and other state and community-based agency/organization professionals and volunteers.

Essential Job Duties
The Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources at North Carolina State University invites applicants for a 9-month, professional faculty position as an Assistant or Associate Professor of the Practice in Natural Resources Management of Energy Installation Sites. This position is 75% teaching and 25% service. Responsibilities include teaching an average of 15 credit hours per year, including courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, both in-person and distance education, and advising undergraduate students and graduate students in the online Master of Environmental Assessment (MEA) program as assigned. Service responsibilities (25%) include supporting workforce development programs in renewable energy, serving on department and university committees, facilitating professional development for students, guiding students in capstone projects in area of expertise (stakeholder engagement or environmental impact assessment), and engaging with professional societies and other stakeholders in renewable energy assessment.
Teaching and Mentoring Responsibilities (75%):
The candidate will teach in-person and online courses in natural resource management and renewable energy development such as ET 220 Solar Photovoltaics Assessment, NR484 Environmental Impact Assessment, ES 300 Energy and the Environment, and EA 521 Fundamentals of Renewable Energy Site Assessment. The candidate is expected to develop and teach a new online graduate course on a priority topic for environmental assessment, as relevant to natural resource management of energy installation and other development sites. Mentoring includes advising graduate students in the online MEA program, including for their capstone projects.
Service Responsibilities (25%):
The candidate will support student engagement in department, university, and state/federal programs in renewable energy development and land asset management of energy installation sites. The candidate is expected to represent the department and university at relevant energy conferences, participate in on-campus recruiting, and contribute to administrative management of academic and non-credit programs for natural resources, environmental assessment, and energy management. The candidate also will serve on committees (at the department, college, and university levels) engage with students through student organizations, undergraduate research, or other extracurricular activities; and participate in professional society activities.

The Omega Transitional Care Technician plays a vital role in supporting patients, clients, and clinicians within NC State's End of Life Care Service. This position provides compassionate and skilled technical support for in-hospital and in-home consultations, including patient assessments, treatments, and client education. * This full-time, non-sworn position is designed to prepare individuals for a career as a sworn Police Officer. The program offers a unique opportunity to begin a career in law enforcement while receiving both formal and specialized training.
* Cadets hired into the program will be paid to attend the North Carolina Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) Academy. Successful completion of BLET and state certification is required for appointment as a Police Officer. Candidates who do not complete the program may be released from employment.

Interns remain at their home university and will travel to event sites to facilitate Project YES programs. Project YES provides high level education in leadership development, facilitation skills, youth development and age-appropriate curriculum. Together, the mentor and intern will complete a variety of activities designed to better inform and prepare the intern to transition into the work force.

Primary job duties of cabin counselors include, but are not limited to: group supervision 24/6 (day and night), group management, encouraging positive relationship building among campers, behavior management, and facilitation of basic programming.
Adventure Program Counselors (Starting Pay $325/week):
Adventure Program Counselors facilitate our outdoor living and outdoor adventure programming tailored for campers aged 12-14. Primary duties of this position include those of the Cabin Counselor description, as well as participating in overnight tent-camping experiences and off-site river tubing/rock climbing trips led by the Adventure Coordinator. Adventure counselors will participate in American Red Cross Lifeguard training, site-specific High Ropes training, and outdoor climbing training at Pilot Mountain (all training provided by camp).
Activity Counselors (Starting Pay $300/week):
Activity Counselors instruct our specialized programing and manage the various activity areas around camp. Specialized activities may include: Arts & Crafts, Archery, Climbing Wall/Challenge Course, and STEM classes. Primary responsibilities include providing activity instruction, ensuring participant safety, management of equipment and supplies, program area set-up/break-down, basic curriculum development (with assistance from Director), various support tasks around camp, and camper supervision during activities and overnight in cabins.
Lifeguards (Starting Pay $300/week):
Lifeguards run all aquatic programming at camp. Lifeguards work in groups of 2-3 to ensure participant safety, prepare activity areas, lead program instruction, maintain equipment/areas, perform support tasks around camp, and participate in camper supervision during activities and overnight in cabins. All lifeguards must hold a current certification provided by a nationally recognized certifying body (American Red Cross Lifeguard class will be provided during training). To ensure continued competence in water rescue and resuscitation techniques, lifeguard certified staff participate in regular in-service trainings.
Aquatics Coordinator (Starting Pay $425/week):
The Aquatics coordinator responsibilities include those of the Lifeguard position, as well as: management of the lifeguard team, ensuring smooth flow of the aquatics activity schedule, completing daily equipment checks, communication with upper leadership, participating in and/or leading in-service trainings, performing support tasks, and overnight camper supervision. Current lifeguard certification (or willingness to become certified) and at least 1 year prior relevant experience required.
Healthcare Staff (Starting Pay $425/week):
Our Healthcare Staff manage the day to day general health and wellbeing of our campers and staff. Primary responsibilities include working with the Camp Nurse, organizing medical forms, sorting/administering medications, providing minor first aid, responding to emergency medical situations, and being "on-call" at all times campers are on site. Must be currently certified in First Aid/CPR/AED (American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED training provided). Wilderness First Aid certification, EMT, CNA, or other comparable certifications are a plus.
Lead Staff - Various positions (Starting Pay $425/week):
Lead staff perform administrative, camper/staff management, and support tasks around camp. All lead staff are expected to facilitate positive team dynamics, assist with set-up and breakdown of various activity areas, communicate professionally and effectively with staff and directors, and serve as positive role models for the Summer Staff Team.
Work Schedule - Approximate employment from May 29th, 2026 - August 7th, 2026. Actual start dates may vary based on position. Most work weeks begin around noon on Sunday and end around 2pm on Friday. You will be with campers at all times from Sunday through Friday (except during scheduled breaks), and are required to live on site Sunday-Friday. Applicants will live in gendered cabin spaces while supervising groups of campers.
