Overview
The Building Services Attendant performs a variety of tasks related to custodial and cleaning services before an event, during an event, and after an event. Also responsible for routine trash removal and facility clean up. Ability to work odd or unusual hours, split shifts, or holidays in preparing for an event. Ability to perform routine custodial and minor maintenance work in the cleaning and care of the facilities.
This role pays an hourly rate of $13.00 to $15.00

Responsibilities
Operate buffer, rider sweepers/scrubbers, walk behind scrubbers, blowers, vacuums, and other various equipment.
Climb stairs and lift 40 lbs. unaided.
Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming and polishing.
Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to venue standards.
Protect and maintain equipment and ensure there are no inadequacies.
Notify superiors of any damages, deficits, and disturbances.
Safely use cleaning chemicals and communicate proper cleaning procedures to staff.
Be able to recognize the overall look and feel of the building, maintaining symmetry and cleanliness.
Be able to greet guests with a smile and provide basic event, building and community information.

Overview
As a key member of the management team, the Regional Director of Finance, OVG360 will report to the Senior Director of Finance of OVG Business Services. In this role, the Regional Director of Finance will be an advisor to and collaborator with the Field finance division to provide information, analysis, and insights/recommendations with respect to corporate strategy, as well as financial and accounting matters. Responsibilities
Provide leadership for the Facilities Division accounting, financial reporting/planning, functions with the ability to delegate, inspire and be “hands-on” in key areas
Lead all accounting functions, including cash management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, revenue, GL, and all regulatory reporting requirements for a managed arena.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
Prepare venue budgets and forecasts as well as tracking reports, including explanation of variances.
Provide timely analyses of results and perform balance sheet account reconciliations
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Collaborate with on-site venue finance teams and General Managers to ensure industry best practices are in place at all managed facilities.
Partner with venue finance teams and General Managers in review and approval of venue budget in advance of presentation to clients.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
Assist with projecting event deals, actual event P&L's, analysis, and "settlement" of shows on the night of events.
Oversee payroll process for accuracy and timeliness of paychecks
Qualifications
Education & Certification/ License Credentials
BS Accounting or Finance
CPA preferred
Functional Competencies - Skills, Knowledge & Experience
7+ years of progressive work experience in accounting & finance
Prior experience in sports, entertainment, facility management
Prior regional oversight of multiple venues preferred
Demonstrated experience as a “hands-on” finance professional
Strong understanding of accounting standards and practices
Experience managing back office capabilities (A/P, A/R, Payroll) is ideal but not required
Solid operations focus with diverse skill set in financial planning and analysis preferred
Detail-oriented with exceptional planning and organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Self-starter with the desire to work with people, develop ideas, and drive efficiencies
Public accounting experience is a plus.
NetSuite and Sage experience is a plus.

Position Summary
Utilizing independent judgment, the Event Manager is responsible for the planning, organizing and full execution of all booked events at the Century Center. Responsibilities
Meet, confer, consult and maintain continuous contact with potential and contracted clients
Provide timely, accurate and detailed proposals, estimates, and layout drawings to potential and contracted clients
Recommend products and services to meet and exceed client needs and expectations, maximize the overall event experience, and maximize revenue
Communicate all regulatory restrictions and requirements to clients ensuring compliance prior to event
Ensure all required contracts and documents have been executed at according to prescribed timelines including but not limited to rental contract, certificates of insurance, licenses, permits
Ensure collection of all payable by due dates
Collect, organize, and record event specific and logistical data for booked events at Utah Valley Convention Center
Document all communications with clients via EBMS folder and diary entries
Create and distribute detailed event resumes and event space layout drawings to other departments in a timely and accurate manner including revisions to previously published documents
Oversee the set-up of events ensuring all set-ups are completed accurately and on-time
Anticipate where possible and problem solve any event related concerns to ensure client satisfaction
Inspect event space as well as surroundings to ensure they are being maintained properly for events prior to, during and after events
Consult with exhibit managers, promoters, convention representatives, and others concerning physical set-up needs and requirements for licensed areas; prepare work orders and cost-estimates accordingly
Regularly function as Manager on Duty to ensure client needs are met, events proceed as planned, and complaints are received and addressed appropriately in a timely professional manner
Conduct and/or participate in post event meetings to analyze event outcomes and address issues or concerns
Prepare and approve final invoicing for assigned events in a timely manner
Maintain post event contact with client to ensure all questions and concerns are addressed
Complete post event summary detailing items that were negatives and positives and input summary into EBMS diary for future reference

Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation preferred
Licenses or Certificates:

Overview
The Utah Valley Convention Center, located in downtown Provo, is looking for an outstanding, dynamic intern who is eager to learn all aspects of the convention center business. Learn to build event resumes and floor plans using our CAD and Momentus programs.

Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate records of set-up and takedown activities.
Assist the Operations Manager in scheduling crew members and planning event logistics.
Provide feedback and performance evaluations for the Operations Crew.

Qualifications

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (including, but not limited to):
Responsible for shipping and receiving items moving throughout the facility. Log all items entering and leaving facility.
Coordinate with outside vendors to ensure proper load in and load out procedures are adhered to.

Supervises all line set-up, prep and breakdown activities. Responsible for in-service delegation of tasks to line personnel.
Supervises all buffet, beverage, break, and carving table set-up and breakdown. Assists Executive Chef to ensure quality, consistency and concept are maintained. Monitors production of food preparation, ensuring recipe specifications, portion controls, and kitchen timings are met. Monitors all food served relative to appearance, temperature, sanitary and quality standards.

Administrative and Data Management
Input Data Into Systems: Enter and maintain accurate data within key systems such as Ungerboeck, CaterPro, MembersFirst, MemberPride, and others to ensure data integrity and consistency across the department.
Non-App Reservations: Manage reservations for spaces such as boardrooms, co-working spaces, and new member benefits that roll out. Handle booking requests, coordinate schedules, and confirm details with members and staff.
Parking Codes: Issue and track parking codes for members attending events or using club facilities. Monitor usage, provide updates as needed, and troubleshoot issues promptly. Work with Commuter Services to submit new parking codes for new members and cancel out parking codes for resigning members.
Member Support

Vendor and Event Coordination

Event Support: Assist with setup, logistics, and coordination for events. Work with the Programs/Events Coordinator to handle event-related tasks, provide on-site support when appropriate, and ensure member engagement and satisfaction..
Marketing and Social Media
Social Media Creation and Management:
Assist in the creation of engaging, brand-aligned content for social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Collaborate with Membership Manager to develop content themes, identify relevant topics, and execute regular posting schedule that promotes club events, initiatives and member highlights.
Actively monitor and respond to comments, messages and inquiries on social media. Maintain a positive and timely response strategy to address questions, provide information, and handle any issues that arise on digital platforms.
Track and report on engagement metrics (such as likes, shares, and member interactions) to assess the effectiveness. Provide insights and suggest adjustments to enhance reach and member engagement.
Marketing Support:
Work with the Membership Manager to implement targeted social media campaigns and email marketing strategies that align with club events, initiatives, and seasonal priorities.
Help design marketing materials, such as flyers, event banners, and digital graphics (using Canva), to promote events, Membership benefits and club news. Collaborate with Membership Manager to ensure these materials meet club standards and are distributed effectively.
Coordinate with the Membership Manager to ensure consistency in branding and communication.
Support the execution of marketing strategies that promote events and club initiatives.
