Purpose Statement
The Robotic Palletizing Operator Associate will control all aspects of finished goods palletizing while adhering to all plant and food safety guidelines.
Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
Operate all equipment in the palletizing room, which includes the programming, troubleshooting, and documentation of all functions and equipment.
Responsible for basic troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and other minor maintenance of all palletizing, conveying, and stretch wrapping equipment, which includes proper lubrication of equipment, proper tracking of belts, and start-up procedures.
Maintain a valid material handling equipment certification.
Maintain work area in a safe and orderly fashion according to GMP, AIB, and company safety guidelines.
Perform any other miscellaneous duties assigned.
Will be required to work in other areas as necessary.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
High school diploma or GED required. Technical School graduate preferred.
3 or more years of experience in manufacturing maintenance environment with demonstrated mechanical aptitude
Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal
Must have the ability to train other associates in palletizing and conveying operations
Must have the desire and ability to operate as a member of a Self-Directed work team
Has an awareness of and the ability to follow Associate Safety guidelines
Has an awareness of and the ability to follow GMP and Food Safety guidelines
Understands proper equipment and conveying operating and adjusting procedures

The Production Operator I is responsible for the operation of the on line color extruder, Compounding Twin Screw Extruders, operation of all quality testing equipment, the making of concentrates, set up of feed for the lines and finished product packaging and storage. Essential Duties:
Under general supervision, operates in all areas of the plant. Receives direction from the Lead Operator on routine operations. Receives close direction on non-routine operations.
Determines tank levels using level indicators, gauge glasses, measuring tapes, etc

Pay: $25.78 per hour plus Production Incentive Bonus
What You'll Do
Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operation.
Perform equipment setups and changeovers for various tube and pipe mill sizes, gauges, and grades.
Inspect and maintain tooling and equipment to ensure proper operating condition and product quality.
Conduct quality checks throughout the production process, ensuring all specifications and standards are met.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or process issues to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
Assist maintenance teams with basic preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment adjustments.
Maintain accurate production records and inventory documentation according to company procedures.
Follow all safety procedures and LOTO rules to promote a safe work environment.
Keep work areas clean and organized to support efficient operations and safety compliance.
Who You Are
1+ year of machine operation experience, preferably in a manufacturing or tube mill environment.
Associate's or Technical School Diploma preferred.
Mechanical aptitude with ability to use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures.
Basic computer proficiency to enter and retrieve work order information.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
Ability to work overtime and flexible hours as needed to meet production demands.
Physical Abilities
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and perform repetitive motions.
Capable of standing, walking, bending, and operating machinery for extended periods.
Comfortable working in a steel manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, and industrial equipment.
