    We are seeking a CNC Operator III to join our team. This role is responsible for producing machined parts by setting up computer numerical control (CNC) machines. The position is also accountable for maintaining quality and safety standards within the assigned work area and provides skilled support to all areas of the machine shop. What you will do: Proficiently operate and perform change-overs and set-up of all machines; Run multiple machines simultaneously while keeping all machines in the department operational and running efficiently. Select appropriate set-up tooling and fixtures for machines as needed; Adjust tooling and work off-sets and troubleshoot advanced and complex programs, and perform editing of current programs if needed. Write or develop programs for machines. Understand how to read and apply information from prints in order to produce parts within the desired specifications; Perform inspection and documentation of first-piece articles Load raw materials and unload completed parts; Measure and gauge parts based on print and quality plan for part being produced and make adjustments to assure parts are being run to accurate specifications Understand how to use measurement tools such as snap gage, digital calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, and other measuring instruments Communicate effectively and in a timely manner any delays or problems to the area leader; Actively promote cooperation and teamwork within and outside the department and offer assistance to others as needed Perform preventive maintenance on machines including topping-off lubricants and coolants Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area by performing daily cleaning of equipment, chip removal, and removing all clutter from the work area Participate in continuous improvement efforts including 5-S, processes, productivity, quality, and safety initiatives; Assist with establishing quality and safety standards and in assuring these standards are followed Work independently performing change-overs and set-ups and running parts as the manufacturing schedule dictates Perform other duties as assigned by the area leader What we are looking for: High school diploma or GED is required, but prefer an Associate Degree or Certificates in CNC Machining Technology At least 6 years of CNC experience with highly-skilled understanding of CNC programming language is required Experience with gear hobbing preferred Strong understanding of machining practices Ability to interpret and understand engineering prints Good working knowledge of trigonometry, geometry, basic math, and measuring instruments Excellent troubleshooting skills Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills Must be able to work under strict time constraints Must be willing to work overtime as needed Oracle experience is considered a plus #LI-JT1 Compensation Employee Type: Hourly Salary Minimum: $55,000 Salary Maximum: $85,000 Incentive: No Disclaimer: Where a specific pay range is noted, it is a good faith estimate at the time of this posting.     We are looking to add a CNC Operator to our first shift team. The CNC Operator is responsible for producing machined parts by operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine while maintaining quality and safety standards. What you will do: Proficiently operate the assigned machining center; will be required to run multiple machines simultaneously Adjust tooling and work off-sets Read and apply information from blueprints in order to produce parts within the desired specifications Perform quality inspection of own parts and co-workers' parts as required Load raw materials and unload completed parts; measure and gauge parts based on print and quality plan for part being produced and make adjustments to assure parts are being run to accurate specifications Proficiently use measurement tools such as snap gage, digital calipers, micrometers, optical comparator, and other measuring instruments Communicate any problems to the set-up operator or area leader in a timely and effective manner Utilize DNC & SPC databases as required Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment, including top-off of lubricants and coolants Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area by performing daily cleaning of equipment, chip removal, and removing all clutter from the work area Adhere to all established procedures as well as quality and safety standards Perform other duties as assigned by the area leader What we are looking for: High school diploma or GED required; professional certification/education preferred At least 1-of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience with CNC Machines Strong mechanical aptitude Good working knowledge of trigonometry, geometry, basic math and measuring instruments Good understanding of machining practices Must be able to read blueprints, and specification drawings; read and interpret other written work instructions Must be able to use micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices Additional characteristics: Strong problem-solving skills Team player who works in cooperation with others Good interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills - both oral and written Must be able to work under strict time constraints Must be willing to work overtime as needed Detail oriented Oracle experience a plus Compensation Employee Type: Hourly Salary Minimum: $45,000 Salary Maximum: $70,000 Incentive: No Disclaimer: Where a specific pay range is noted, it is a good faith estimate at the time of this posting.
