Methuen Construction is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to provide essential support to the Department Name department. This position reports to the Manager Title and is not responsible for the oversight of other teammates. This is a full-time, salaried-exempt position.
Your Role
Inspect and operate equipment and all attachments

Must possess required licenses preferable 2A or more Mass Hydraulics License
Must have an OHSA 10 certificate

Ability to stand for extended periods of time, and safely maneuver around the nearby presence of various construction equipment and vehicles, on an active construction site

Chemical Handling Knowledge (Preferred):Experience shipping and receiving hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals, with familiarity in FDA, IATA, and DOT regulations is a strong plus.
Import/Export Process Understanding:Exposure to international shipping processes, including documentation, carriers, and freight forwarders, is beneficial.

Duties and Requirements:
Heavy equipment operation: Safely and proficiently operate a front-end loader and other heavy equipment to remove snow and ice. May use mechanized snow removal equipment, utilizing snowplows, loaders and skid steers.
Site clearing: Clear snow from designated areas such as parking lots, access roads, and loading docks according to specified site maps or supervisor instructions.
Snow management: Load snow into dump trucks or strategically move and stockpile snow to minimize impact on traffic flow and site accessibility.
Vehicle maintenance: Perform and document daily pre- and post-trip inspections of the loader. Conduct routine checks on fluid levels, tire pressure, and lights, and report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team.
Safety protocols: Maintain a safe work environment by following all company safety policies and procedures. Be aware of blind spots and surroundings to prevent accidents.
Communication and reporting: Maintain clear and regular communication with a supervisor or dispatcher. Fill out daily work logs detailing equipment hours, work completed, and materials used.
Substantial physical activity required.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Operators must possess a valid Driver's License and equipment-appropriate MA Hoisting License (2C, 2D)
Operators must provide own transportation.

Hours may vary due to snowfall, daylight, and adverse weather conditions.
Operators must provide cold weather clothing, jackets, snow pants, winter boots, hat, gloves.

Job Description
The Extrusion Operator will set up and run various extrusion machines and ancillary equipment in the manufacturing of medical and non-medical extruded tubing. The operator will be expected to perform his/her job duties safely and with attention to the execution of all tasks with efficiency and quality.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Set ups, tear downs, operates and cleans extrusion machines and ancillary equipment within supplied specification.
Performs moisture analysis on raw materials and ensures utmost quality of extruded product by performing quality inspections using a variety of measurement equipment including, but not limited to:
Pin gauges
Micrometers
Verniers
Video microscopes
Laser micrometers
Troubleshoots extrusion issues as needed.
All other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
3 years of manufacturing/machine operator experience preferred. Willing to train mechanically inclined candidates.
Must be able to read, apply and train others on documented work instructions.
Must be able to perform basic math and use basic tools, such as ruler, calculator, etc.
Must possess ability to calculate the tooling necessary for new single lumen extrusions, run time, part weights and raw material required for order
Reads and interprets customer and internal product specifications and prints
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Advanced related technical schooling
Physical Requirements:
Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, and/ or walk for prolonged periods of time.
Must possess fine hand motor skills to handle small manufacturing tools, QC tools and fine product.
