About the Role:
As an Intermodal Equipment Operator (also known as a Terminal Operator), you'll play a critical role in the safe and efficient movement of shipping containers within our intermodal yard. You'll operate specialized equipment-such as hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders-to load, unload, and relocate containers as part of our daily logistics operations. Your work ensures containers are handled accurately and safely, keeping freight moving on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate heavy equipment to load and unload shipping containers from railcars and trucks.
Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis within the yard.
Use top loaders, side loaders, and/or cranes to stack, move, and organize containers.
Perform equipment inspections before and after use to ensure operational safety.
Communicate with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate moves and tasks.
Maintain a safe work environment by following established protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
Previous experience operating heavy equipment or machinery in a logistics or industrial environment preferred

Huntsman's Performance Products Division is seeking a Chemical Operator supporting our facility in Rock Hill, Carolina. This position will report to the Plant Management Team.
In summary, as the Chemical Operator, you will:
Document operating and quality conditions of plant equipment and processes,
Notify appropriate personnel when operating and quality conditions are not met and respond accordingly,
Transfer materials into or out of drums, bags, tankers, railcars or other types of containers that may require heavy lifting (in excess of 55 lbs.) above the waistline.
Move and connect chemical hoses to pumps, reactors, tanks, tank wagons, and other equipment,
Maneuver drums, and other containers weighing up to 550 lbs. to position on pallets for filling and storage,
Perform routine maintenance on plant equipment such as tanks, pipes, hoses, pumps, etc. Use of tools, compressed gas equipment, rigging, and other operations involving equipment maintenance,

This facility is a metal working corporation that Machines and Fabricates component parts and complete assemblies for the Automotive, Medical, Pump and Valve, Material Handling, Earth Moving industries, Architecture, and OEM equipment.
Review customer drawings and specifications, operate and/or set up, and/or program CNC lathes and Mills with Fanuc G code or similar controls
Operators will run parts and inspect and learn over time to to change and touch off tools and make set ups
Setup personnel will load programs, load tools, bore or indicate jaws, touch off tools, walk program through first piece approval and then run machines as needed
Set up personnel will also run machines for production as needed
Programmers will write, edit, and set up Jobs at the machine
2 years experience - Blueprint reading required

Loader Operator
Operator job in Yadkinville, NC
* Inspects equipment/machinery for safe day-to-day operation and for general maintenance needs. * Operates various heavy equipment, such as dozers, scrapers, loaders, excavators, tractors, front loaders and back hoes, to excavate, move and grade earth.
* Interacts with construction general laborers and/or crew members who are facilitating alignment, movement, and adjustment of the equipment to complete conformation of grade specifications for the construction project.
* Turn valves to control air and water output of compressors and pumps.
* Adjusts control wheels, handles and depresses pedals to drive machinery and control attachments, such as blades, buckets, scrapers and swing booms.
Qualification Requirements

* Education and Experience. This position typically is not an entry-level job, as it requires demonstrable previous experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator.
* A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.
* Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with job site supervisors and fellow employees.
* Must understand the different signals used to signal operators of construction machinery.
* Three (3) years or more of industry related experience is required for this position, with an emphasis on roads, highways, and bridges.
* Experience running a 950 size loader or larger with shot rock material in proximity to steep slopes, three (3) years or more preferred.
* Physical Demands. The following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by a Loader Operator to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
* Constant pushing/pulling is required when the employee operates hand controls. Initial force to pull open the cab door is influenced by the weather. Moderate wind yielded force pound recording of up to 50 lbs. of force to pull the cab door open/close.
* Minimal sedentary to light level of lifting is required occasionally, such as hand-held radios and other personal belongings into the truck cab.
* Sitting on a constant basis as the operators perform their duties. Seated positions in the cab can vary depending on the type of machinery they operate. Twisting of the upper back/thoracic area to view surrounding areas and other moving vehicles/equipment occurs on a constant basis.
* Alternate between standing and walking on an occasional basis to access the machinery/equipment.
* Safe negotiation of uneven terrain in various weather conditions is required.
* Frequent climbing is performed to enter/exit the equipment or machinery via ladder.
* Occasionally crawls to check equipment/machinery for safe day-to-day operation and for general maintenance needs.
* Forward torso bending is required to reach the hand controls of machinery or during inspection of the equipment.
* Squatting/Kneeling may be required during general inspection of machinery/equipment.
* Work Environment. The work environment characteristics described below are representative of those that a Loader Operator encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
* Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions.
* Work environment periodically exposes the employees to high levels of noise, grease, and dust that is typically associated with a construction project.
* Employee regularly works near other heavy equipment and moving machinery.
* Work may involve a variety of substances commonly found on construction sites such as form oil, grease, curing compounds, gasoline, diesel fuel and ready mixed concrete.
* Working in steep slopes in mountain areas/rock quarries.

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Heavy Equipment Operator to support operations involving the collection and transportation of materials from designated locations. This role involves operating motorized equipment, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring safe and efficient site practices. This is a full-time position with a consistent daytime schedule and occasional weekend or holiday rotation (not to exceed 40 hours per week).
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operate heavy trucks and equipment to collect and transport containers from designated sites.
Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, materials handled, and routes completed.
Conduct daily inspections and perform light maintenance on trucks and equipment.
Identify and report equipment breakdowns or service needs to supervisor and assist in repairs when necessary.
Communicate regularly with supervisor to receive instructions and report issues.
Follow safe driving practices and all applicable traffic laws.
Survey collection sites and report any operational or environmental issues.
Ensure that only authorized materials are collected and transported.
Check equipment daily for fluid levels, tire pressure, lights, and other safety components.
Complete maintenance logs and repair requests as needed.
Fuel vehicles and equipment and ensure they are kept clean, inside and out.
Skills & Qualifications
Understanding of safe public service and communication techniques.
Ability to operate, maintain, and inspect heavy motorized equipment.
Capable of performing physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
Familiarity with identifying authorized vs. prohibited materials.

Must be able to operate vehicles, perform visual inspections, and complete written reports.
Special Requirements
Valid Driver's License required.
Must have a Class A or B CDL or be willing to get one within 6 months
