BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this position is to safely operate and maintain water or wastewater treatment plants, ensure compliance with permits, regulate process controls, and maintain plant efficiency for the Brazos River Authority (BRA). This is accomplished by collecting samples, performing analysis on water/wastewater samples for process monitoring and reportable analysis, monitoring the operation of the plant, adjusting plant valves, flows, and return rates, adjusting chemical dosages as needed, running various analytical tests, calibrating and maintaining lab and equipment, operating the sludge press and conventional areas of the plant, entering data from lab analysis, and possibly conducting local laboratory testing. Aseptic Production Operator IIAs an Aseptic Production Operator II, your primary responsibility is to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of aseptic manufacturing processes and equipment. You will focus mostly on the Aseptic Block Equipment (Blowmolder, Filler, and its peripherals devices). You will play a crucial role in maintaining sterile conditions and producing high-quality beverage products. As a senior production team member, you will also provide junior operators guidance, training, and support.
Key Responsibilities
Execute aseptic manufacturing processes in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). This includes preparation, setup, operation, and monitoring of aseptic blowing/ filling, cleaning, and sterilizing the aseptic block equipment. Knowledge about Chemicals used in the Aseptic Block Equipment and their critical interactions (GHS & SDS).
Overall knowledge about Aseptic Production, such as basic concepts about Microbiology and pH, Low Acid and High Acid Products, and causes of sterility loss.
Monitor all the Aseptic Block equipment Critical Control Points (CCP), using a Human Machine Interface (HMI), to ensure the final product sterility is maintained. Identify and address potential contamination risks and work with your Supervisor and Quality/ Maintenance Teams to mitigate/ eliminate them.
Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot Aseptic Block Equipment, such as filling and blow molding machines, sterilizers, and filtration systems. Detect equipment malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust machine controls. Be alert to the alarms and act quickly to adjust equipment to prevent unnecessary downtime.
Perform routine equipment maintenance, which involves cleaning, inspecting, and lubricating (CIL) the Aseptic Block Equipment. These routine activities will be performed under Maintenance Technician supervision to maintain good equipment performance.
Follow Quality Control Niagara's procedures for in-process checks, sampling, and inspections to ensure product quality and compliance. Perform visual inspections, measurements, and other quality control tests to identify deviations or defects and take appropriate corrective actions. Responsible for testing Torque, Top load, Bottle Section weights, and Cleaning/ Sterilization Chemicals concentrations (ability to perform Titrations)
Responsible for accurately documenting all production activities, including Production Logs, Machine Reports, Quality Reports, and Downtime Reports, using software such as Presage and Infinity. Adhere to cGMP guidelines and regulatory requirements to maintain compliance with Niagara's Quality Systems and external regulatory bodies.
Maintain a safe working environment by following safety protocols such as Lock out Tag out (LOTO), wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), Housekeeping and participating in safety training programs. Report any safety incidents, near misses, or hazards to your Supervisor.

Follow Quality Control Niagara's procedures for in-process checks, sampling, and inspections to ensure product quality and compliance. Under general supervision the Equipment Operator, assists in the construction and maintenance of the city streets, trails, parking structures, ROW maintenance, concrete structures, storm water features by operating a variety of construction and maintenance equipment.
Posted range is the starting salary. Pay rate offered is based on experience.
Examples of Duties
* Assist a field crew in maintenance and construction of streets, trails, parking structures, alleys, and storm drainage systems.
* Performs duties including asphalt and concrete repair, mowing, maintenance of storm drains, catch basins, and storm drain pipes.
* Operate construction equipment to repair and maintain the streets and storm drainage systems. Ability to operate vehicles and equipment including gradalls, bulldozers, backhoes, dump trucks, compactors, paving machines, and loaders as well as assorted hand and pneumatic tools, for a variety of construction and maintenance operations.
* Maintains records and prepares reports of work performed and materials used.
* Plans, lays out, estimates and arranges for materials and equipment to execute the job successfully.
* Oversees an assigned area and identifies asphalt in need of repair, or re-construction.

Experience and Training

Certificates and Licenses Required
* Possession of a Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement or ability to obtain prior to employment.
* Possession of Work Zone Certification, Flagger Certification, Backhoe Certification, and Skid Steer Certification or the ability to obtain within one (1) year of employment.
This position may require you to have or acquire a commercial driver's license (CDL). Federal law requires all CDL holders register with the USDOT Clearinghouse before operating a commercial vehicle. You will be required to enroll in the clearinghouse and sign a consent form allowing the City to run your name through the clearinghouse as a condition of employment.

This position is responsible for operating equipment used in the manufacturing of high-conductance flexible circuits and intelligent wiring systems consistent with established production and quality standards. Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of equipment, inspect raw materials before loading onto machines, carry out basic quality checks such as testing of product or packaging before shipping.

Operate safety sensitive and heavy equipment such as electric pallet jacks, manual pallet jacks, & fixed equipment.
Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
May perform all system tracking activities in accordance with customer requirements and departmental guidelines; including, but not limited to entering accurate data into the company specified systems for job time and inventory tracking.
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to Supervisor or area lead.
Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
